He drank his coffee slowly, sulkily. He glanced at her but her focus again was not on him. She was looking at her phone... again.
He wished he could take the phone away so she could focus 100% of her attention on him. Only on him.
Unfortunately, he did not do it, no, he did not dare to do what he had in mind because it would hurt her feeling and their just starting to go stronger relationship could be affected. He would not want this fragile relationship to be strained just because he wanted her sole attention.
But he thought she should do it without any hint from him. Shouldn't when two people in love, they would have instinct what the other person wanted?
He should expect this to be happened, though. He already knew how she would treat each job she had, seriously. So it would be out of her personality if she suddenly acting more like his girlfriend and lover and less as his personal assistant.
