Ryn said goodbye once she got out of the car. Jeremy agreed to send her home after the disastrous meeting with President Ho. She wanted to give him space to discuss what they would do next with his father without any interruption from her presence. She knew her presence would distract them and a huge possibility for either the Dowager or Mrs Long would keep coming into the room just to talk with her. Worst, Mika might come. It would waste the precious time they have left and they would not have the time to plan properly before dinner tonight.
She looked around the living room silently before she made her way to the kitchen. Her body was sticky from the sweat and her mind was still heavy with what she just learned today. But her throat was so dry that she needed to wet it first to feel comfortable.
