Ryn smiled when she noticed him.
"Is it lunch?" she asked cheerfully as she stood up.
Jacob gulped as he looked at his boss nervously. Uh oh... He's doomed. Was he too close to Miss Catherine until his boss gave him that warning stare?
Oh no... What should he do? Was he going to be fired today?
Unaware of the awkwardness in the air, Ryn grabbed her backpack and went to her boyfriend. She was hungry anyway so even if it was not the time for lunch yet, she still wanted to have a meal.
"I'm hungry. Can we go somewhere close by? I don't think my stomach can hold it anymore," she said shamelessly. She had a busy morning and did not eat anything but the breakfast the helpers brought from the mansion.
Jeremy was distracted by Ryn's words that he forgot to punish Jacob for 'stealing' her attention again.
The couple left the office hand in hand.
