She tried to sound confident and mysterious. It took her several minutes before Mika believed completely in her lie and ended the call cheerfully.
Ryn sighed heavily once the call ended. She cracked her neck and stretched her body. And then, she grabbed both phone and the water bottle and walked to the kitchen.
Now she has a hen party to plan and it must reach or go beyond Mika's expectation.
She rubbed her temple.
That was a long talk full of suspense and regret. And she would rather not having another conversation ever again especially with the Dowager.

was pouring another bottle of water, her phone rang. With a frown, she looked at the display and pursed her lips to see his name.
Why would he call her?
She edid not want to have another quarrel for a silly reason as not to answer his call, she wiped her hands dry and answered the call.
"Love, are you busy?" He asked gently once she answered the call.
