Ryn smiled. She knew it was not his fault. Mika was being her spoiled child mode again. Mika did not think much when she made a plan.
So the blame should go to the right person; her silly best friend.
Mika needed to learn that some people have to earn money by working and pretending that it was a job was like an insult to her. She should not treat it like a joke. It was not even funny.
"Are we good?" he asked.
"Hmm..." she nodded.
"Lucky me," he whispered.
"Hmm... lucky you..." she lifted her head and looked at him. She knew he was glad she did not blame him.
"Yes, lucky me," he repeated and kissed her gently.
They shared a smile. They kissed again and just hugged tightly, sharing their body warmth even with their clothes blocking them.
No one could come between them. Not even Mika.
