Ryn stared down at her laps, where her hands were gripped tight. She tried not to feel regret. He did not argue when she uttered the words. He simply drove the car after she told him the name of the hotel. Of course, she caught him cocking an eyebrow after he heard the hotel's name.
She was fretting inside but too frustrated to even utter a word. She glanced around and saw the time at the small clock. It was already late. No wonder there was not much cars on the road.
Then, she lowered her eyes back and stared at her hands.
He was aware of her actions. He did not say anything but pursed his lips thoughtfully. He knew that tomorrow his family would go to Ryn's parents' place to meet 'officially'. His grandmother would lead the group. Of course, he and Mika were not included as they were still considered 'too green' in their grandmother's eyes.
