The silence continued on until the car reached the huge mansion. Mei Li stopped the car and watched as Ryn opened the door and got out.
"Pick me up tomorrow at the same time," Ryn reminded.
"Okay. Your wish is my command," Mei Li replied dryly. She changed the gear and drove the car away, leaving clouds of dust spreading at where she was before.
Ryn did not watch her leaving. Instead, she went to the door and rang the bell.
It took only two seconds for the butler to open the huge wooden door. He quickly smiled politely and followed behind Ryn.
"Young Master is waiting at the dining room. Would you like to fresh yourself first or..." his words trailed off as he waited for her reply.
"Dinner?" she asked softly.
"Yes, Miss. It is time for dinner," the butler replied.
"What about Mika?"
"Young Mistress Mika is having dinner with Young Master Jason. I am not sure what time they will return."
"Hmm..."
