Evelyn felt his gentle eubs over her back. Who could have known that a mafia boss could be so gentle with his touches? It did not seem like his hands had killed people or held guns more than they had ever held roses.
After a while, she pulled away from him having seeked enough confort.
Evelyn glanced at him. "Thank you." She conveyed her gratitude to him. "I don't really know what happened." It just seemed to have happened.
For a while it seemed like he could not even control her thoughts. They were running wild in her mind and no matter how much she tried to rail them inside, in one direction, it did not happen.
"It's alright Evelyn," Salvatore said as he very gently touched her forehead and caressed the skin on the side of head. It was right beside her hairline. "It is alright to panic. What matters right now is that you should know the reason for it."
