Evelyn felt slightly uncomfortable. Her neck felt strained and the angle was raided up more than usual.
She heard something and finally caught onto it slowly and slowly.
". . .I need those men to be taken care of."
Who?
"Find those who are alive and take them in. You know what to do until I come in the morning." That was Salvatore.
Alive? Morning?
She did not open her eyes immediately but continued to listen.
"Send someone in to assess the damage and for the repairs. I want it to be done by the end of the week."
"Yes, Don."
She heard the army of men, which she assumed, walk away. The door closed and even though Evelyn had not opened her eyes she knew that now she was alone with the Don.
"You can open your eyes Evelyn," he said, making her open them in an instant.
Evelyn looked straight at the coffee table before her eyes went to the man standing next to it.
