Everyone stood up when President Grant entered the room. Simultaneously, every single person inside the meeting room greeted him.
"Good morning, Mr. President!"
Instead of sitting right away, President Grant stood still and addressed every one of them.
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for coming. I asked all of you to come here today for one reason only, and that's to give me a piece of good advice in regards to an extraordinary person in my life. " President Grant stopped for a moment and looked around the room if everyone was paying attention.
Once he verified that everyone was paying attention to him and he had their full attention, he continued with his speech.
