"The golden beam of light left the mountain open. With it, we can enter without the golden seal. The one who opened it possibly be the inheritor of the 'Holy Blessed Library'." Head Araw explained what he had read in the ancient book as they hurriedly dashed towards the top. "This is the place where the 'Holy Blessed Library' was built, guarded by the Heavenly Phoenix.
"This place was sealed and only through a unique golden energy can be opened publicly, but of course, the library itself was reserved only for the inheritor."
They traveled through the valley and halted in front of a golden gate.
"This is it!" Head Araw exclaimed.
"Is this the 'Holy Blessed Library'?" Vice-head Ino asked.
"Yes, it is! The gate is open, let's take a look inside." Head Araw responded.
"Yes!" The others nodded.
"What a magnificent mansion!" Vice-head Venancio was overwhelmed by the sight in front of him.
"The door is closed. Let's wait here!" Head Araw said with excitement.
...
One hour had passed and no movement at all.
"Head Araw let's try to knock. Maybe it'll work." Vice-head Bay suggested.
"Then, let's try it!" Exuberant Head Araw rushed to the door. He just managed to lift his hand when suddenly, golden light passed through the hole whilst the door was opened from inside. The door opened up, and a vaguely giant figure walked out from inside. The figure stopped in front of him.
"Sir Enix! Head Araw greets you!" Head Araw clasped his fist recognizing the creature.
"Head Araw, Sir Enix greets you too!" Sir Enix bowed his head.
Shocked, the Vice-heads tried their hardest to greet sir Enix.
Vice-head Venancio suppressed his agitation saying, "I was really looking forward to this moment, and now that you are in front of me, I can't believe it."
"Not only you Vice-head Venancio, but we were also looking forward to meeting him. Head Araw description of you, sir Enix was accurate," Vice-head praised.
They all nodded in agreement.
"Ho ho ho! Vice-heads, I'm overwhelmed with meeting all of you too. This is new to me. Ever since I was born, Head Araw was the only one I could talk to!" Sir Enix stated. He then remembered Tala and Adasa's first meeting with him.
'Tala?' sir Enix dived in his thought, 'did she somewhat be involved with this?'
"Sir Enix, may I know the name of the guardian?" Head Araw cut their conversation.
"Didn't you send him here?"
"Send him here? No! I didn't send anyone here."
"You didn't?" Sir Enix asked for confirmation.
"Yes, I didn't!" Head Araw confirmed firmly.
Sir Enix stifled. 'Oh! This is what she meant.' It now dawned on him the meaning of Tala's words.
Sir Enix confronted the Head saying, "10 000 years had passed and no one had shown up, but now was a fortunate event. The inheritor emerged and right now, he's inside. His name is Adasa!"
"Adasa?" Head Araw's jaw dropped. They never thought that a 5th class guardian will be able to trigger the key even without reaching the quota of needed heavenly energy.
"The ancient book says that the unique golden energy needed to activate the 'Holy Blessed Library' will be triggered only after a guardian becomes 16 years old. Adasa was only 14 years old, so how could he open the Library without reaching its prerequisite age?" Head Araw asked as he glared at Sir Enix, baffled.
"Was there such a prerequisite age?" Vice-head Luna did not hear about it before.
"Yes, there is. It is because the needed energy to open the Library was great. Upon reaching 16, we all know that guardian undergoes great changes as one's physics, energy, mentally, will and guardianhood will mature. In that age one can trigger his unique golden energy if he possesses it." Head Araw explained.
"In the case of Adasa, what do you think happened sir Enix?" Notwithstanding his curiosity, Head Araw asked. 'Maybe sir Enix know something as he accompanies Adasa inside,' he thought.
The other looked at sir Enix waiting for an explanation.
"You're right Head Araw. At first, I thought that you give him the golden seal to enter the mountain because you know that he possessed the unique golden energy. But to my surprise, you didn't.
When I first saw it, it was just faint. I only wanted to try it if it was really the unique golden energy that I thought of. And, it is truly what it is, but through his hand, which means, he wasn't the pioneer inheritor." Sir Enix remembered the scene as Adasa opened the gate. "The unique golden energy in Adasa's hand was intentionally hidden by that inheritor."
Unique golden energy should come from the center of one's body.
"Intentionally hidden?" Head Araw was baffled.
"Yes. The golden energy was just passed to him. Whoever he was, I hope Head Araw doesn't dwell to it much for he didn't want to be known." Sir Enix stated.
The door suddenly emitted a golden light again; a sign of someone will exit. A figure of a young man in a hurry can be seen from afar.
Adasa jolted in shock to the view ahead of him.
"Adasa pays respect to Head Araw and the Vice-heads." Adasa clasped his fist and bowed.
"Hmm!" Head Araw nodded. With a sweet voice that an elder should not possess, he said, "Why are you already here Adasa? You should take your time inside."
The other also nodded in agreement.
'He barely got in and now his already out?' Sir Enix could not fathom the young man.
"I have a competition to attend to, Head Araw. I needed to prepare, so I went out." Adasa explained, evading the eyes of everyone. 'If Tala had intentionally hid her unique golden energy without me noticing, she must have a reason. I shouldn't flaunt it.' He thought.
"Oh, right! The sun was already up. Let's head together to the square then." Vice-head Huan suggested.
"That should do. Do you object Adasa?" Head Araw did not want the young man felt uncomfortable with them. Although he has so many questions, he suppressed himself. 'This is not the right time.'
"No..no... Of course not!" Adasa stutteringly replied. With the presence of the elders, he couldn't carry out his plan to find Tala. He'll just flaunt her secret if he does so. 'I will look for Tala in the square first. That should do!'
Adasa extracted the energy of the gate causing it to close. The beam of light also faded.
The mountain was back to its normal sight except at the barrier. The Phoenix served as the guard of the heavenly library and the barrier was just another plan to guard the library. Since, the inheritor emerged, the barrier and sir Enix served no more. It was the inheritor duty to guard it from that moment.
Footsteps paired with laughter echoed down the mountain. They met with the new born guardians on the foot of the mountain.
"Vice-head Paras, you know what to do with our new members!"
"Yes, Head Araw!" Vice-head Paras replied. "Children, follow me!" The five new guardians followed behind him.
"Are they the newborn guardians?" Sir Enix asked Head Araw.
"Yes, they are!" Head Araw replied.
Upon hearing the conversation, Adasa unintentionally looked at a red hair young boy. To his surprise, the young boy looked at him too. Their eyes met. Adasa felt an indescribable feeling.
...
The square was already crowded. At the front gate, The Head, eight Vice-heads, Adasa and sir Enix walked in. An uproar arose as the crowd saw sir Enix.
"Was that the legendary Phoenix?"
"It looks like it!"
"Yah, it is!"
"Although its color is different, It sure is a Phoenix!"
The news about the appearance of a Phoenix spread like wildfire, reaching the ears of the 1st class students.
The students in 1st class usually in seclusion, head hurriedly to the square to spectate.
"That was a Silver Phoenix!" Luwalhati exclaimed. He was one of the 1st class students. Beside him were Ema, Isagani, Apo and Danilo, the other 1st class students.
"You're right, Luwalhati," Ema confirmed.
The agitations of their heart were visible to their bulging eyes and quivering body.
"Is that Adasa?" Danilo pointed a young guardian beside the Phoenix. No one other than him noticed the young man.
"Yes, he is!" Ema assured. She just saw Adasa last night in the library talking to Tala, so she could confirm. The other three followed the eyes of the two with an incredulous expression.
Adasa felt an intense gaze from the gate. He then looked over and saw the 1st class students.
"The 1st class students altogether!?" Adasa exclaimed.
...
"Let me lead the way," Isagani remarked. He seized the opportunity before the other could react.
Apo swayed his hip to Isagani making him bounce away. "I will lead the way," bumptiously, he said.
Luwalhati stretched his leg in front of Apo making him trip. He raised his brow as he made his way ahead.
Danilo did not want to be left behind too, he blocked Luwalhati's way saying, "Back away."
"Force me if you can," Luwalhati's haughty behavior was obvious all over his body.
His cold eyes met the fiery eyes of Danilo.
The surrounding winds around the two swirled abnormally, but before they began to fight, a fair young lady passed ahead of them already, strolling towards the Head.
"EMA!" they chorused.
