Destruction was always a favorite of mine. I do not know why, but seeing the rubbles, the pain of the mortals, and their despair makes me excited to even do more damage.
After I channeled the energy for my attack, the sky above the mortal city was covered in flames. Not even a small space between the flames was left open.
The sound of screams immediately reached my ears after huge spherical projectiles of fire descended from the sky. My body started shaking after hearing their agony, making me increase that intensity.
"Die you lowly creatures!" I shouted with a laugh.

Horus looked at the fiery sky in horror. No matter how much he looked, he couldn't see any opening that could allow him to escape.
'If those things hit me, I'm done for!' he thought.
From the moment Set arrived, his ears had been ringing and his thought process slowed down due to fear.
Now, however, he started to hear the sounds from his surroundings. He looked at the terrified mortals around him. Never in his life has he ever seen such a thing, and he wanted it to stop.
He used his right arm to help himself up, but instead of pushing against the ground, his hand pressed against something soft and squishy.
He lowered his head and looked in confusion, only to see the bloodied face of the poor girl that tried to help a minute ago. His eyes widened and he thought, 'I...I need to get out of here...'
Horus took some steps forward but then he stopped.
"What am I doing...
"These people... Th-They are my subjects... They wanted to help me before all of this happened! How can I just let them die like that. No this is not killing, it's butchering!"
"Even if I manage to leave this hell, what's the point of ruling over corpses? If another threat arises, would I also leave them to die? That means that I am a coward!"
"No! I won't allow this to happen!"
His normal eye glowed with determination as he thought, 'There is only one technique that can be used to protect them...'
He opened his left eye, the Divine Eye, and muttered some words. After that, a barrier appeared around the city and prevented the flames from wreaking any more havoc.
The fire projectiles started bombarding the barrier and pressing it down.
"I c-can't...!"
The mortals noticed that the danger subsided and looked around. Somehow, they managed to sense that the bald young man with the glowing eye was the one protecting them.
"Sir! Are you alright?" a man from the crowd asked. But Horus didn't reply as he focused all his energy on repelling Set's attack.
After a few seconds, blood started to ooze from his Divine Eye as the barrier was strengthened.
'Where am I getting all this strength from?' he wondered as he felt the pain from his body, but he kept pushing for more power!
This technique may seem as a slightly more powerful defensive barrier. In truth, however, the barrier would absorb the attack's power and transfers it to his body.
Normally, it would be used to surround Horus' body and transfer the attacks to the attacker! But in order to protect these people, he used it on a larger scale and endured the pain. He even thought on using it on Set, but this technique requires him to see the enemy in order to apply it, and Set was outside his dome of fire.

After five minutes of constant attacks, I felt that it was enough and the city should have turned to dust and all people down there, including my pesky nephew, should have died.
I dispelled the attack and to my shock, the city still stood. There were survivors. Sure there were some destruction and casualties, but they were minor. And I immediately knew the answer.
There he was, standing tall and proud while facing the hellish sky. The mortals were around him kowtowing in what seemed to be gratitude.
However, what they did not know was that the body they were expressing their gratitude to was already lifeless.
Horus has died!
