I searched for two whole days, and it was for naught. Based on what my feelings are telling me, Osiris should have already been revived. But at the same time, I feel like he wasn't.
Either ways, I couldn't find them. Now do you really need me to tell you how angry I got?
"This is troublesome, extremely troublesome..." I muttered as I flew from place to place. Eventually, I searched the entire land of Egypt, and I couldn't find any trace of them. Even Horus seemed to have disappeared from the surface of the Earth.
Having no other choice, I went towards a pyramid far away to the east. It took me quite a while to find it because unlike normal pyramids, this one moved, but it always remained in the east for some reason.
The pyramid was moving on its legs when I entered its interior. Statues, boxes, books, and heck, even animals and humans, in cages, could be seen everywhere.
Going deeper into the building, I finally saw him, the mad scientist and god of knowledge, Thoth!
"At least raise your head or make a sign that you noticed my presence," I said after a few minutes of silence. The room was dark, making me wonder how Thoth was even able to write.
"I am busy, chaotic one," he replied without lifting his head from his writings.
"And you are always busy Thoth, if it weren't for the fact that we both have craziness in us, do you think that I'd even bother with someone as boring as you?"
That got his attention. He sighed and stood up, looking at me straight in the eye.
Thoth had a face of an old man, but a messy head of black hair. There was a piece of glass floating in front of his left eye. His body was normally that of a human, but with the mad modifications that he made on it, it became quite a mess.
"What do you want, Set?" he asked calmly.
"I want to know what happened to Osiris," I replied even more calmly.
"And why would I tell you that?"
"Because I am pretty close to annihilating everyone and everything, including you."
"Ha! Do you really think that I was sitting around burying my head in all these books and experiments for nothing?"
"Yes, I do think it was for nothing."
"Ha! You insult me in mine own home, god of chaos, but..."
He paused for a while and I thought, "And here it comes."
"... I want you to give me their bodies if you did manage to defeat them."
"I only asked about Osiris."
"Yes, that is true, but I am going to be generous and give you information about the others."
"You stinky..."
