Hello everyone,

To some, this will be the start of a thrilling tale of horror and adventure, but to select few (very few if memory serves) who recognize the title from royal road, I'm back! To make a long story short, I started writing this story back in 2018 but dropped it after the first three chapters. There was a rather sudden tragedy that made my rather large family quite a bit smaller the morning after I published the first few chapters. I had several more chapters written but it was almost two months before I touched my computer again following the accident, and by then I had lost all desire to continue posting the story. I even considered announcing my decision to walk away from it as opposed to just ghosting, but I wasn't in a good mental place and so I just dropped it in silence. Time has passed and I find myself regretting the stories I left half-finished (or half-begun if we're being honest). So I want to return to this story, and several others I started planning but never even finished the first chapter of.

I wanted to take this moment to apologize to any that care, and to those that don't, I hope you enjoy reading this story, and that we can see each other for many chapters to come.
