There is nothing but a pure primal instinct to hunt, countless creatures world over has used it as a means to quench the hunger of their kin. It is also used to seek attention and gain popularity amongst that individuals tribe as a means to validate his place among them. Hunting is one of the few things that are shared between all races as it is a means of surivival and sport, this fact can be recognised where ever you end up.
Vampires are a noble and bloodthirsty breed they are born hunters as they need to hunt the life essence ( blood ) of living things to survive, which is why vampires tend to be stronger than the normal humanoid beings. As the stronger a vampire becomes the longer a vampire can sustain from feeding, as the father and maker of all vampires to come Azarath knew that. However as he has just awakened he needed more sustenance to be able to function effectively and it also helps as a means to fully understand and integrate the vamperic side of him.
As Azarath hunted them it seems as he melded in and out of shadows following the fleeing couples scent, his eerily ghoulish red eyes and curled up mouth was proof of how much he enjoyed it. Following after them for a few more minuets he finds them huddled behind a huge towering tree, with the husband trying to calm his panicked and distraught wife.

While i was looking at the new notifications that i recived from the system, i tried the new skill predator on the couple just ahead of me and my vision changed to a red shade with the couple giving off pure white auras as soon as i marked them. As i turned off predator and my vision turned back to normal the couple had small white spark where their heart shound be.'How helpful now i dont even need to stalk future victims and just look for the white spark and they'll be there' i thought fiendishly. As i finished admiring my new skill I come back and slowly walked my way towards my prey, just as i came into their view the woman started to scream as the male strated to sweat while his face went pale.
Husband " Ssssweetttheartt i need you to keep going I'll slow him down as long as i can" he stuttered.
Wife " *Sniff* NO I CAN'T JUST LEAVE YOU! *sniff* she shouted between sniffs as she tried to stop crying
Husband " Please I cannot bare the thought if something happened to you too i will not fail to protect you like i did with the kids" he spoke with a strong resolve in his voice
Wife " Bu" before she could finish speaking her husband cut her off with a gentle voice
Husband " No buts, i what you to promise me that you'll run". " Promise me " he whispered as he gazed at her with a loving look along with a steady and strong resolve in his eyes.
As she looked upon the man she loved tears fell down her face anew, trying to inprint the image of his face into her memory for good.
Wife " i promise. I love you " she spoke in in a small weak voice
Husband " I love you too now hurry go quickly and make it back to Deltom you'll be safe with the guards there"
As soon as she turned and began to ran not for 5 seconds she was embraced by the same man that she was supposed to be running from, she saw him looking down on her with an amused smile with a slight mocking look in his eyes as his met hers. It gave her the feeling as if she was just a child trying to do something foolish and he was the adult who was chiding her for her actions. Her face became pale as she heard her husband screaming in pain and anguish as she was tryng to fight the grip of the man that held her so she could check what happened to her husband as the man started to laugh creepily.
Azarath " KeKeKe what foolish people you really are, and what's with acting in such a melodramatic way you were quiet amusing to listen to especially when you guys said the i love you to each other. You guys should really be awarded for such a dramatic scence. His voice laced with contempt and sarcasm.
As soon as i stopped speaking i ripped the womans head off and feasted on the sweet spraying fountain of blood that came after as the result of the act. As i drank the husband with his legs ripped off from his body gaped at me with a look of sorrow and resignation with a lifeless look creeping it's way into his eyes. After i finished draining her lifeless husk of a body i dropped her onto the floor as the thirst was finally satiated, with the dryness of my throat gone i can finally think straight so i gaze at the dying man. I spoke with a calm and gentle voice.
Azarath " You can thank me now as i have just brought peace to you and your families souls" i smiled as i looked at him feeling pleased that more people will feel the warmth of deaths embrace.
Man " Monster " he quietly manged to say before being welcomed into the arms of death.
Just as i was about to leave i felt a slight killing intent aimed at me thanks to the skill Instinct my eyes wondered into the direction the killing intent originated from. The my eyes fell upon a giant humanoid shadow as i continued to stare i got new notifactions.

I frowned upon the ogre for interrupting my self satisfaction. My face broke out into a menacing smile.
