Florence felt like she was being sucked into those two dark green eyes. They couldn't look away from each other. To them, the time had stopped and it was only them in the world.
"Thump thump thump thump"
Florence's heartbeat was loud in her ears and with her hand on the man's chest, she felt his fast heartbeat too. Their pulses were in harmony. A blush crept up on Florence's face as she realized what position she was in. Angry shouts began to fill the square and the man broke their eye contact. A humored look appeared on his face as he looked back at the people running toward them. He pulled Florence up and started running. He dragged her behind him, leading her into a beat down house.
"Why did you drag me along with you? You made me drop my fruits! Hmph!"
The man smiled and looked at Florence with and amusing look in his eyes.
"I'M SERIOUS! Repay me for my fruits!"
His low magnetic voice initiated a laugh. "Alright, I'll repay you."
The man walked closer to Florence and she couldn't help but walk backward until her back hit a wall. He didn't stop until their faces were a few centimeters away from each other. They were so close that Florence could count the number of eyelashes he had. He lifted his left hand and brought it to the wall behind her. As he touched the cool brick, his pinkie skimmed Florence's pale neck, sending a wave of goosebumps down her body. The man's right hand reached for her chin, lifting it up so that their eyes once again were staring into each other's pupils.
"What are you d---!"
The man bent down and kissed her lips, sealing her words. Florence still has her eyes wide open from surprise, her brain couldn't process what had just happened. When she finally realized that a random stranger had stolen a kiss from her, she tried to push him away. However, she didn't have enough strength the fully push him away. In reaction to her rejection, the man kissed her with more force and passion. The heat made Florence dizzy, drowning her in the moment. She felt his tongue making its way into her mouth. At this second Florence had thought that finally, someone loved her. They got closer and the man started kissing her neck. A moan escaped out of Florence's mouth, as her arms traveled up around the man's neck. Her fingers found a necklace. Curiosity took her consciousness and Florence looked down to study it. The necklace came into focus in the palm of her hand. Lifting it up to the light shining through the window, she found engravings on the inside of the circle hanging on the silver necklace.
"H & E Forever"
Florence gasped. The identity of the circle dawn upon her. It was a marriage ring. She was having an affair with a married man. Her thought that she was finally loved broke into pieces, her heart became swallowed by grief. She had thought that she finally got the love of someone only to realize that the man was just playing with her. Still unable to push him away, she bit his tongue. The man's guard was broken as he withdrew in pain.
"Y-y-you're married!"
"What does that matter."
"You're cheating on your wife. Why am I even surprised? What kind of man kisses a woman he doesn't even know the name of?"
"Tch, great I didn't think you were that kind of woman."
"Oh, so I'm 'that kind of woman' now? I don't even know you, never seen you in my whole entire life."
The man leaned in, his breath resounded in Florence's ears. "Henry Shelley." He whispered. Henry lifted his face back into Florence's view. His lips curled up into a smirk when he saw her shocked face. Contented with her reaction, he spits out the blood in his mouth and left the building before Florence could say anything.
