Draig was shook awake by the sound of glass vials hitting a table, looking at the source he found Dracule setting down a few vials with red liquid. The amount was obviously more than what Warren had given but Draig wouldn't argue about the old pumpkin's means of completion.
Walking to the table Draig picked up the vials and began dumping their contents onto the next blank page as he went until he had a total of ten pages. Staring at the Tome he felt pleased for already having this many Skills available, flipping the pages however he found that things were not as he thought.
Each page held only one Skill or ability on it surface, Draig didn't voice his displeasure or even make a questioning look as he would have done previously. However it seemed as if the Old pumpkin could read his mind.
"It only takes the Main ability or skill of a class in stage one, with stage two you can gain all class skills, but it is only at stage three that you can steal Blood traits." explained Dracule.
Draig merely nodded but it was clear he stashed the information into his head for safe keeping, looking again through the Tome he examined the Skills he had gained.
'Limit Breaker: Allows wielder to break through their limits to achieve higher attainments'
'Sword mastery: Allows user to become one with their sword to complete complicated blade movements'
'Lightning Manipulation: The prerequisite to using Lightning Magic'
'Summoning: Brings forth the most suitable partners for user to contract'
'Fire Manipulation: Grants user the ability to use their Soul flame for spell casting'
'Grand Forging: Skill for those craftsman who have reached the pinnacle of their profession'
'Final Shot: A Skill that reveals enemy vitals for quick take downs'
'Appraisal: allows user to view hidden information on items or target'
'Martial Prowess: Allows user to demonstrate a number of fatal hand to hand techniques'
'Pickpocket: Allows user to perform sleight of hand to pilfer target's pockets'
Draig looked at the pages and found that he couldn't be disappointed as he hadn't lost anything with this risk but in fact gained although it was minimal in comparison with expectation's but soon he would make full use of his book as he felt greed settle over him.
Draig found himself looking forward to this little competition against the Guilders but he still needed more to prepare. He needed his own forces, though unknown to him Dracule was already solving this matter.
Calling the old pumpkin over Draig relayed his commands.
"As you wish" answered the old Feratu far too pleased.
Draig had requested the old pumpkin to spread the word of a recruitment with a place to gather, Draig already had a few ideas of what he was going to do as he had thought about it since the Knights had shown themselves. He was going to start his own Order, an Order that had a completely different code from the other Orders. An Order of Knights that only served him and acted of his accord.
Draig smirked to himself as he forced a few Blood Gems out before placing them into a few of the items that he had been making but as he did so he hungered for more variety in his Tome. Draig thought on the matter before deciding against the thought, it was already a gamble to invite the common folk to the Farm.
Draig felt a bit frustrated thinking about it but didn't let it show as he once again began walking ending up in a familiar location.
Draig stared at the regenerating rock and found it to look a bit aged this time, swinging Draig easily took a large chunk of rock however to his surprise the rock did not regrow as it had previously. The occurrence sparked the young Feratu's curiosity causing him to swing away scrapping the large rock and revealing that it had been hiding an entrance to the Beast lands. Draig felt a smile forming on his face as he began plotting carefully, this would prove all too valuable in the near future.
Draig silently sent out a string of runes that circled the broken pieces of rock and connected them into creating a rough human shape. After connecting the rune strand together the rock figure seemed to come to life as it looked at its hands for a moment before looking at Draig.
"Sit here and block this entrance" commanded Draig filling with confidence.
The stone golem seemed to understand as it sat down and seemed to return to being a normal rock, nodding in satisfaction the young Feratu returned to the Farmhouse his earlier frustration replaced with excitement.
Subconsciously Draig cast his gaze to a set of gear hanging up for the moment but on the surface of theses items you could see the ominous glow of runes. Another smirk appeared on the Vampire's face, as the time drew nearer it seemed that fate was determined to give him a fighting chance against this oppression.
Draig looked towards the encyclopedia and remembered what he had been thinking earlier, sitting down he determinedly started reading the book again starting from its first section. It was hours later that Dracule returned, looking up from his book and noticing that the pumpkin seemed to be in the same condition as before gave Draig a some belief that people may show up the next day.
"Lord, you should rest. We still have much to do before we are ready" commented Dracule not saying anything about his mission.
Draig heard the words and nodded before taking himself to his room to rest, he hoped to see a crowd in the morning but wouldn't hold his breath and it was to these thoughts that Draig fell asleep.
