Draig woke with a start hearing a banging on his door, shaking the haze from his mind he opened the door to find none other than his supposed tutor.
"Let's hurry up and get this started" stated the woman attempting to enter but found Draig's figure to be far more sturdy than it appeared.
"You can leave" stated Draig a bit of coldness flashing through his eyes.
"What do you mean leave, I came all the way over here just to teach and now your telling me to leave?" demanded the woman.
"That was two days ago" stated Draig with a snort at the audacity
"Then you have solved your issue and now you can enchant my armor" asked the Woman excitedly.
"I could" answered Draig blankly
"That is excellent news, what I was hoping you could do was a magic absorption type thing so I don't run out of energy when casting spells" began the woman but Draig stopped her.
"I said could, not will." cut Draig dully
The woman stared at Draig for a moment as if registering what he had just said.
"What do you mean by that" asked the woman her eyes narrowing.
"You have not even made an offer to pay me or barter at that, why would I do that for free" asked Draig
"You should feel honored just to be doing a service for a Guilder" began the woman only to be cut off by Draig's mocking laughter.
"You should feel honored I have given you the time of day to spit such dribble" sneered Draig as he looked at the pendant hanging from her clothes.
"The Spiraling Serpent Guild" noted Draig before asking a question.
"Is the rest of your guild of the same mindset" asked Draig causing the girl to smirk as she spoke.
"Oh does that intimidate you" chuckled the woman.
"Don't be ridiculous. However since that is the case everyone from the Spiraling Serpent Guild is banned, removal" stated Draig before a flash of light happened and everyone from the Spiraling Serpent Guild found themselves staring at the entrance of the Farm.
A nice little gimmick he had installed during the week he had been waiting for the Knights and Guilders to start arriving for business through the use of runes. Only made possible by the accursed box Zarra had installed to keep him from running while the city was being renovated for some reason.
The woman felt her blood chill realizing the consequences of her words, if her Guild Leader found out she might be lashed publicly just to make amends.
Thinking quickly she ran in search of Sylvie, lucky for her she managed to find the blank faced girl practicing with her sword and displaying the effects of Draig's enchantment.
"Sylvie can you help me" called the woman urgently
"How can Sylvie assist you sister" asked Sylvie tilting her head to the side.
"I need you to go and talk to that enchanter, he banned my whole Guild from getting his enchantments and now we can't even enter" complained the woman.
"Sylvie wishes she could help sister but Sylvie only met him a few days ago" explained Sylvie blankly.
The woman pleaded with Sylvie for awhile before the blank faced sword user went to Draig's farm and noticed the commotion.
"It's not fair"called the member's of the Serpent guild
"How come we have to pay for one idiot's mistake" came another shout
Several similar cries were heard from the crowd but a gentle clearing of the voice silenced everyone as a silver haired youth stepped out of the Farm.
"I have one response, I don't care" stated Draig looking at the members of Spiraling Serpent calmly.
"Are you the enchanter" asked a middle aged man somewhere in his late twenties.
"I am" answered Draig with interest.
"Then I want to make a bargain" started the man.
"Well I don't" responded Draig inciting the crowd again.
"If I beat you in combat then not only are we not banned but you will give us a free enchanted item" stated the man ignoring Draig.
"Are you ignoring me" asked Draig clearly causing the Feratu to narrow his gaze.
"Well do you dare" demanded the man as he suddenly found a pale figure in front of him with their fist planted in his gut.
Draig just turned away intending to leave after this.
"Why are we even reasoning with this filthy monster, its only here because it can enchant things" came one remark but the speaker couldn't utter another word as eyes became glued to Draig in his same position clutching the speaker by the throat.
The surrounding Guilders were still trying to piece together how their comrade ended up in Draig's hands but it wasn't adding up for them.
"I don't have time for you peons, but I suppose if it will shut your miserable lot up then I will explain. One of your members had threatened me, she had said my only purpose was to enchant for the Guilds and then alluded to me being harmed if I refused. That statement of your comrade just a few seconds ago has done nothing to disprove this statement so you of the Serpent guild are not welcome here." stated Draig once again turning his back on the crowd.
"You may all leave now" stated Draig entering the farm again.
The Spiraling Serpent members eventually left to inform their superiors about what had happened while Draig was followed by a certain sword user.
"Sylvie has a question" came the sudden voice.
"What is it" asked Draig as he tried to fight himself internally at the moment.
"Can Sylvie ask you to remove the ban on her sister" responded Sylvie
"No" answered Draig as he grit his teeth and the gleam in his eye took on a more predatory shine.
"Sylvie will bargain with you for it" offered the girl.
Draig started breathing a bit heavier as he seemed to hear pulsing of Sylvie's heart and her aorta seemed to become more pronounced as his eyes locked onto it gaining Sylvie's attention.
It was common knowledge by this point and time that Draig was in fact a Vampire and upon noticing where his gaze rested Sylvie seemed to gain some understanding.
"Sylvie will let you if you can let her sister and her friends come back" stated Sylvie calmly though a tinge of pink could be seen flowing to her cheeks.
However her words seemed to have a terrible effect as Draig turned away violently.
"Leave" ordered Draig with labored breathing.
"But Sylvie's sister" started Sylvie but was cut off.
"No, now leave" roared Draig vanishing from the spot.
Sylvie seeing the situation left and went to inform her sister, Draig meanwhile was fighting his own nature.
Draig laid in the middle of the basement of the Farmhouse clawing at himself as his eyes turned bloodshot and his fangs elongated. He quickly began bashing himself into the floor as he continued the insane looking ritual. It was several minutes before his breathing seemed to calm and the air in the room seemed to ease.
"Why didn't you take a bite" came the hollow voice of Dracule.
"It could have been a trick, they all know I am Vampire. It would be all too easy for them to gather the masses against me if I bit someone especially with today's events" answered Draig as he began straightening himself out.
"In my day we didn't have to worry about who we bit" muttered the old Feratu.
"In your day they didn't have a bunch of super powered mortals able to counter our natural superiority" shot Draig as he began walking up the stairs to collect a new set of clothes.
Dracule watched Draig before leaving through the cellar door to complete some other task, while Draig changed an tried to get himself under control by meditating before falling into a deep slumber.
