While Kira was being pestered relentlessly an odd thing was happening at the Bounty stations erected by the Class System. The wanted posters wouldn't be accepted for some reason, a simple message of 'Nonviable Target' was given by these people's Bounty Office. However a simple yet inefficient method was thought of causing the Class system's Offices to fall into disuse.
It was here that a familiar figure was displayed at the top of the board with the highest wanted rank, Rank Z in the Bounty book was none other than the Bloody Enchanter himself. Draig's image was portrayed nefariously in the portrait, his list of crimes was endless. This sparked a manhunt like no other among those who wished to strike it rich quick, however there was barely any information on Draig.
Those who were most knowledgeable about the young Feratu were tucked away from the world doing their own things and those who would give information didn't know much other than what was already heard through rumor.
"Damn it, how has that brat avoided detection still." complained Zarra as the posters had been sent out for a month but still no clear sign of the young Feratu had turned up.
"Zarra, its not that simple. You know things like this take time, eventually he will turn up and when he does. He will be in the spotlight, then we swoop in and retrieve him." explained Grigory with a serious look, he was briefed on the happenings after he had been nearly cleansed knowing that the enemy was after a newly awakened Bloodscript had concerned him greatly.
"Then we must be on guard and build our power for when the moment that he reveals himself" stated Zarra waving his friend away so he could be alone.
Elsewhere Marcus sat atop a horse with a group of trainees behind him, his eyes seemed to flicker with something more than the usual emptiness. It was a look that could be found in only one other, almost as if a mirror.
'Draig...' thought Marcus as he barely restrained himself.
"Knights, today you march forth to prove your grit and commitment. Some of you may die but that is only possible if you allow yourself to be lacking in skill and strength.
Marcus lead them as I have taught you in this time we have been together." announced Warren before turning his back and walking towards a new group of recruits.
Marcus's eyes flared as his horse started off in a sprint towards the south in pursuit of the young Feratu.
In the south eastern part of the forest the Enchanter could be seen, his foot rested casually on the skull of an Orc as he laid against a tree. Sketchbook in hand as he admired a ruby red flower with a black stem with a clear liquid dripping from the thorns. His gaze rested on the finished product as if contemplating something.
"Vampire's Bite" stated Draig suddenly as he wrote his words on the page displaying his sketch.
He wrote down the symptoms of this nasty little beauty that he had seen from his Appraisal skill before removing the petals and collecting the seeds. He had taken to collecting other things during his journey, those interesting little things that amused him in the slightest.
Waving his hand a pen appeared in his hand, with a click it elongated and became a cane. The young Feratu walked casually through the forest, there was something different about him though. A constant hunger, the young Feratu knew of his condition but couldn't pinpoint the cause. The only theories he had were the Bloodscript or his unquenched thirst, the thought of either one being satiated drove him into a frenzy.
However the occasional confrontations allowed him to release his frustrations allowing for this elegant carefree attitude that one could witness only from his noble blood. However it was sudden, Draig merely waved his pen turned cane breaking through the attack.
"Ahh, sir please forgive me" cried a sleazy fatty of a Goblin.
"Oh, your quite the oddity." stated Draig with interest as his Appraisal skill activated.
"Yes, indeed good Sir. I'm truly one of a kind, a testament to my species. Such an amazing thing should be allowed a small mercy, right?" said the little fatty quickly.
"I agree, such an odd creature shouldn't be killed." answered Draig looking at the little fatty with a look of amusement.
'It thinks it's people' thought Draig as he held back a snort of amusement.
"Thank you sir" started the goblin but he was interrupted by Draig.
"Come boy." stated Draig.
The little Goblin stared for a long time until what the young Feratu had said sunk in. Without hesitation he turned to run but found himself hitting a wall that didn't exist.
"Feisty little mongrel aren't you" laughed Draig as the end of his cane danced in an odd formation as he pierced his thumb with a spike in the handle of the cane.
In response the precious fluid became ink for the incantation, a symbol quickly formed and slammed into the little Goblin marking it's chest.
"What did you do to me" cried the Goblin clenching the burning mark on his chest.
"Come boy, or else the burning won't stop until you obey" stated Draig as he watched his new pet roll on the ground.
The Goblin clenched it's hands and obediently went to Draig's side.
"What do you want with me" asked the little fatty as he realized Draig was the worst person he could have attacked.
"I merely find you amusing and the thought of speaking the language's of you lesser creatures revolting. So that is now your job little Translator." chuckled Draig as he watched the Goblin's face become one of shock.
"How did you know that. What are you" stated the Goblin as he backed away.
"I am the Heir of Feratu, something far beyond your pedigree." laughed Draig as he watched the nasty thing imitate intelligence.
The Goblin nearly passed out on the spot, he had thought the Feratu Bloodline to be eradicated.
This was bad, many clans and races had been involved in the uprising. This would mean the end for anyone who had taken part in that revolt. Soon his thoughts became one of splendor, luckily his blessing had use to this young Master.
"My apologies Master" cried the Goblin as he ran to Draig's side.
"Good boy." laughed Draig at the little thing's antics.
'Hmm, seems this thing can distract me from that hunger I've been feeling' thought Draig as he and his new pet walked through the forest as the Goblin showered him with Praise.
