Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1- Eternal Sleep in World 1

WARNING. THIS CHAPTER WILL KIND OF DESCRIBE DEPRESSION SO YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. ALSO A LITTLE BIT OF GORE.

Slap. One given after another. And another and another. Eyes full of disdain looked at the whimpering girl on the cold bathroom tiles.

"You dare? To tell the press? You bitch, you must've eaten something to act so thick faced!" The woman dressed in bloody red, shining with all the jewelries she's wearing. She could be compared to a star. Deadly and beautiful. Though the brightness is a bitch, just like this woman.

"I'm sorry...I'm.....sorry....I'm sorry...I'm--" The girl was interrupted when the woman slapped her once again. The little girl wonders why nobody is coming in. Where's her mom? Her dad? The little girl's white dress that's designed with real diamonds, now soaked with the bathroom's toilet water, as well as her hair. But there was blood running down her forehead in such a rush.

Tear streaks as clear as day. Her bruises slowly showing from her long sleeves. They duo didn't noticed the door opening slowly with a creak and shutting with a soft thud. The woman glares at her and tried to raise her hand once again. But fortunately, the little girl's father reached her just in time.

This made the girl cry in relief. "Dad...where....have you....been?" The little girl said through hiccups and the father looked at her with an apologetic look then turned to, glare at the woman.

"Su-- no. My sister would never even dare. Mrs. Jung. What gave you the right? Even the damn authority to raise a hand at my daughter?" He said with such a cold tone as your mother rushed to your side. You were shivering as much as would a leaf in the middle of a field with strong winds. Your mother cried with you as your father has already dragged your supposedly 'auntie' outside for a 'talk.'

On the same day. You were immediately sent to the hospital. And unfortunately. HyunSo have to stay at the hospital. Just being at the hospital, it makes her feel sick in the stomach. Being trapped in a room till she recover makes her upset. Looking at a view outside the hospital window that she can't grasp makes her furrow your eyebrows.

This even makes her think she's ridiculous as she finally sees the art on her arms and legs. Cuts. Cuts everywhere. It clashed with the bruises but she didn't care. She felt numb anyways.

She thought how even more ridiculous her parents are for not noticing earlier. If they noticed immediately, then she wouldn't be like this in the first place. HyunSo has always been the introvert type. But her silence ever since the day her aunt (--or should she even dare anymore to call her that--) got caught, it was strange and so unusual. Her silence was depressing, deafening.

They tried, really to talk to her. But she would just simply smile blankly and go back to looking at nothingness. HyunSo is a sweet girl. Anybody that knew her well would say that too if you ask. And her smile is blinding. Genuine and so sweet. Not like this smile of hers now.

It was the Han family's fourth week in the hospital. But weirdly, HyunSo is nowhere to be found. She disappeared as if she was never there in the first place. Then, they went to check the bathroom and none. Then a nurse barges in and tells them to come out. Confused, very much they were. They went out to the street and there was a crowd just outside the door. On the floor. Wearing a content smile with visible tear streaks on her cheeks. There lays Han HyunSo.

"They said it was a hit-and-run...I'm sorry for your loss" The doctor taking care of their child said then backing off with a frown..

But something is out of place...Oh yes, the blood surrounding her and her lifeless eyes staring into nothingness. But her face seems so peaceful. Cuts still leaking of blood. The cuts are so deep you could seriously see the girl's bone.

Oh, if only her mother and father who are now staring and crying in disbelief, knew how much she wanted this. She just wanted to say goodbye for the last time to them. Say how much she loves them, but she can't as it was too tempting. There was a letter found in HyunSo's pocket. But the couple didn't see an explanation. But only saw a short message.

"I'm selfish. I know. It's sad and disappointing. Trust me, I know. But I really need this."

The mother saw a paper that's drenched in a puddle. With the words that made her cry harder.

"Goodbye"
