Lucas and Ivan spend their time talking to each other, they begun to chat about anything under the sun. From common triviality to art of combat and then even to supreme delicacies all over the world.
Ever since Lucas unsealed his past memories of 16 years of life in Sea-Mist plane, his old personality and the new personality merged without causing any complications, there were no clashes and was seemingly effortless.
Even though Lucas didn't felt any different, the truth was that his change was immense inside. In front of his family he effortlessly acted according to his memories and didn't let them have any suspicions. But as time passed and the people he was familiar with being far away from him, a true newborn Lucas was unveiling itself.
The Lucas from Earth had an old heart he was cautious, steady and had a mind with a mature and deep thoughts. But the moment his memory was unsealed a week ago, the dominant and powerful personality took over but still due to unknown reasons neither of the personalities clashed. The young personality, Lucas Arsln, that was developed in Sea-Mist plane slowly combined and integrated.
The Lucas now has a deep curiosity and radiance in his eyes that befitted a youth of his age and a mature air unbefitting his age surrounding him gave him a mysterious aura.
His purple eyes, slender build and the confident gait together gave him an extraordinary charm transcending his age which Lucas himself was unaware of.
As Lucas had deep knowledge from earth and aristocratic teachings he acquired from his new life Lucas developed deep insights to almost all fields except direct combat and cultivation. Besides due to the epic memory and learning ability Lucas got due to passive System core functions, he could easily see through many things and reach the core or essence straight.
After that, their discussion covered a myriad of random topics, the chatter going into full swing. Ivan was growing increasingly surprised at how perceptive and learned Lucas was.
As both of them continued their conversation, it was Lucas the one asking his questions and Ivan answering. Lucas's questions mostly involved in the world outside Federation and other continents.
The chat with Ivan helped Lucas in clearing many of his previous doubts. Now Lucas could see the Sea-Mist plane and could have an overall outlook.
There are three main continents, others are islands with the maximum land mass comparable to Federation. In the three continents there are many countries in various sizes, all living in peace at least from outside it is so.
From the history he once read, it was written that the last large scale war between countries happened more than 800 years ago.
Comparing to the largest and powerful countries, kingdoms and empires, even though Federation was not the strongest it wasn't too far off.
Even though the whole Sea-Mist plane was unbelievably large, the land where man dominated was small in scale compared to the whole world. Most of the land in three continents were either forbidden zones that no man can walk or extremely dangerous forests where powerful magical beasts roam.
Lucas could still sense that Ivan have hidden many information from him, but he could understand that. No one would tell core secrets to a teenager, especially a teenager who have never proven himself. Lucas understanding the intricacies calmly and quietly listened to Ivan's explanations.
".…there are still many sect with ancient legacies exist. Some still existing from the time when cultivators roamed the land. Some are still weak and some have regained their former glory." Ivan said.
"Hey! Lucas!" a loud shout came far from them interrupting the serene night. Many people turned their head in displeasure towards where the sound originated from.
Lucas also turned his head hearing someone call him.
A young man was waving his hands and was walking over to Lucas. He had maroon hair and a handsome face, coupled with his smile he was a dashing teen. Lucas quickly recognized the youngster walking towards him and smiled in response.
Ivan patted Lucas and said, "Well I am going, you guys talk. Don't stay up late."
Without waiting Lucas's response Ivan walked away after giving a friendly nod to the coming youngster. Lucas wasn't upset by the intrusion, he and Ivan was almost finished, with a faint smile he asked.
"Nelson, I never have dreamed of meeting you again."
Nelson was the youth Lucas once met in City of Datura who was searching for an inn to stay.
"Previously I have looked for you in the whole city, but I never found you. Where were you?" Nelson walked over with a big smile on his face.
"I was at home. My Uncle wouldn't let me leave the house, he kept on saying that the city is dangerous." Lucas casually answered him.
"Yeah I can understand, I myself saw many higher realm mages and warriors roaming the streets. It was exciting, Uncle Glen told me that they were there for the auction at Sky Imperium Palace. You must have heard of it, right?" Nelson's eyes sparkled and excitement filled his face.
Lucas gave a smirk and replied, "Eye of the Sky?, I have heard."
Nelson immediately started talking eagerly, "Yes, Eye of the Sky, it is said that we have already lost the way of producing it and even some materials used in the production of Eye of the Sky is extinct now. Even though not listed, Eye of the Sky is now treated like a Lost Artifact."
Lucas knew about Lost Artifacts, they were a commonly used term describing artifacts or items that are not possible to make due to various reasons like losing the production method or extinction of some specific material or absence of some specific extinct magical creature etc.
"Eye of the Sky is speculated to be a Gold Grade artifact. A Gold Grade! How many times do you think something like that have been auctioned? Auctioned in a city like City of Datura?"
Cough! Cough!
Lucas coughed intentionally and glared at Nelson.
"Oh! I didn't mean that City of Datura is not good, it is a very good city, a high level city, a prosperous city." Nelson immediately supplemented.
"I heard that the Eye of the Sky was a damaged one." Lucas shook his head and said.
Nelson scoffed, "Damaged Eye of the Sky is still an Eye of the Sky."
Nelson looked around suspiciously and moved closer to Lucas. Lucas in response didn't move but just raised his brows.
After moving near Lucas, Nelson lowered his voice and spoke softly, "Yesterday's auction was on a level of Capital city level auction. Other than Eye of the Sky, Pseudo Unreal Flower and many other precious treasures were auctioned. Many weird things happened after auction."
Nelson once more sneak a peek at the surroundings and checked whether someone was listening to him.
Lucas inwardly smiled, Nelson was a pure teenager with overwhelming curiosity and had a keen sense of information. Even though not much time has passed, some news must have been leaked. Ordinary people wouldn't get much news, but the man Glen, even though looked stupid he was still a powerhouse. So he must have contacted some kind of information. Lucas was thirsting to know what happened and Nelson was like a light in dark tunnel.
Lucas didn't interrupted Nelson, he smiled and kept listening to Nelson.
"Did you know? After the auction, the Creed and Longinus clan almost started a fight, at first it was only cursing but it suddenly evolved into fighting."
Lucas exclaimed, "Are you saying that they fought, fought inside the Sky Imperium Palace?"
Nelson grinned and said, "Not completely, but still awesome right. It was a pretty tense situation. I was there you know, in the auction."
Nelson proudly puffed his chest and raised his head and looked at Lucas. Lucas calmly and indifferently gazed back at Nelson.
After a while Nelson backed down and talked without any embarrassment showing on his face, "I don't know who started but Young Lady Selina from Longitus clan and Lady Kelly from the Creed Clan suddenly started going against each other. They started with denouncing each other and then to cursing and then to almost a fist fight."
Nelson wiped off the invisible sweat of his forehead and said, "Even from a distance I could sense the terrifying energy fluctuations. They only left after someone from the Sky Imperium Palace came and talked to them."
Lucas rubbed his chin and asked, "Selina? Kelly? Doesn't ring a bell."
Nelson looked at Lucas with a strange expression, "Forget about the little girl Selina...….You don't know Miss Kelly…Do you truly live in Federation?"
"Is she famous?" Lucas scratched his head and asked when he saw Nelson's strange facial expression.
Nelson with a frustrating face exclaimed, "She is the one of the top beauties in Federation. The Great Succubus, the one and only-"
Ting
A sound signaling a call came from Nelson's SmartWatch.
"Wait a minute." Nelson excused himself and slightly moved from Lucas and waved his hand and picked the call.
…
"What's up?"
"I am busy."
"Oh! No need to wait for me."
"What?"
"Are you sure?"
"Alright I will come right away."
…
Nelson hung up the call and walked toward Lucas rapidly and asked.
"Have you had Dinner?"
Lucas was slightly surprised at the abrupt question and topic change but still he answered, "No, I was planning to, after some time."
Nelson nodded and spoke, "Great, I haven't dinner too. Let's have it together."
Lucas thought for a moment, after that he agreed and followed Nelson.
"I have heard Super Star Silen Waldenker is on the vessel and is right now at the dinner hall. If we hurried maybe we can meet him. I am a huge fan of him…."
Lucas ignored the rest of the conversation and walked behind Nelson, he thought.
'Silen Waldenker? Who is that?'
