Persephone had been a fun loving and bubbly child, one that Hera had raised with much joy. While her duties as an Empress had taken a lot of her time, she always spent as much time as she could with her many daughters. As a goddess with an almost unlimited lifespan, she had given birth many times over the years and it wasn't uncommon for her to go one to two hundred years without having a child and then give birth several times in a few years span. As for the generation with Persephone in it, she had been the only girl.
The boys, who she never neglected either, would usually spend more time with their father, growing into almost young replicas of himself and as far as Hera knew, that was alright as she always had her daughters to keep her company.
