Dalia was somewhat flabbergasted when she heard her name spoken so simply, as though he had known it all along. Sure, there were people around who knew her name, but very, very few. The way things normally worked in this temple was that you were nothing more than your rank. Because of that, every single person was considered interchangeable with one another, hence why she had to attend this gathering she wanted nothing to do with.
And yet, now there was this young, masked man who so clearly knew her when she had no clue who he was.
"Who are you?" She whispered, the anger clear in her voice.
"Just someone who won a bet. Come on out and spend some time with me," Laz said, opening the door. It was unlocked, the cage just being more for show than anything else.
