Sylvia was stirring, little by little as the memories of what happened to her flashed through her head. She didn't know how many of the ones who had came with her died, she just knew that it had to be a lot and with that, one thought echoed in her mind, causing her to miss the darkness she had been engulfed in just moments before,
'It's my fault.'
As for why she felt this way, that was simple. She had never considered that Maia, their mother tree, would be hurt or would encounter something she couldn't handle. While she was an avatar, she was also a manifestation in that she had the same god realm of the actual tree itself. Therefore, when they had invaded the basement, Sylvia never considered that the entire thing was a trap aimed specifically at Maia herself.
