"You're here. Good. Come, come." Nora seemed like she had been expecting Laz and quickly met him as soon as he arrived. She directed him downstairs and it quickly became apparent to Laz that this basement was massive and had been set up like some sort of mad scientists lair. He literally saw a table with straps on it to restrain someone to the point of being unable to move.
"Is that a giant tesla coil?" Laz asked.
"Yes," was Nora's only response as she quickly got a few vials and a sanitized bag containing a needle.
"Why?"
"Why what?" She patted the chair next to the one she was sitting on indicating that Laz should sit down.
"Why do you have a giant tesla coil? I mean... what purpose does it serve?"
"It's just cool. Really adds to the atmosphere of the lab." Nora answered, getting up and dragging Laz over to the chair and forcing him to sit.
