Maia knew of the Asura, as did all the descendants of the world tree herself as this was something she passed on to all of her children.
For as long as she knew, they had been the overlords of the omniverse, so to speak. They never acted like conquers. Instead, they brought about organization and form to an otherwise chaotic omniverse. The were a race of warriors, but also of scholars. While war was always an option that they relished, they didn't just communicate with their fists. And nor were they passive with their negotiations. Instead, they used a combination of both. While they didn't rule the entire omniverse, their shadow could normally be felt everywhere their were intelligent species.
