Laz knew that someone had been caught watching, but he wasn't of a mind to care. Since this was the concern of the Queen, he let her handle it especially since he could tell the one spying on them wasn't that powerful. He also understood that any problems that might come from this should be left to the queen to solve as the risk she was taking was probably way bigger than him. Sure, he might be chased out of the gate, but wasn't that what he wanted? Unless they decided to kill him in which case then his own risk would be pretty massive too.
Either way, from what he understood, the queen wouldn't allow that so he didn't bother with it, instead focusing on the sweet taste of honey that was right in front of him.
'It really does taste like honey,' Laz thought, wondering if it was a quirk of her bloodline.
