Dean had no idea what was going on. As far as he was concerned, his body was just one step away from falling apart when he heard the girls scream.
He didn't know who he even was, but it seemed apparent that they knew him.
Seeing the ring revolve around him, they removed their hands and it quickly faded. There was no way to have reproduced that without having subdued them.
And there was only one man to have ever done that. More than that, the same man was the one who healed them and made them whole again.
Of course, none of them actually knew what the ring did, just that it was a reflection of their power within him.
Once the ring had completely vanished, Dean collapsed on the floor, his body exhausted and just this side of broken. The girls having briefly forgotten that this wasn't the powerful person they had left just over a year ago, quickly rushed to his aid, lifting him from the ground and gently carrying him to one of the beds.
