But the intense throbbing between Their brows, along with the suddenly burgeoning terror in Their heart, seemed to herald the ominous premonition of some impending disaster.
"No matter who he is, he has undoubtedly come from a distant time and space," The Lord of the Flameless forcefully suppressed the panic within and kept reassuring Themselves: "And it's not his true body that has come, just a strand of consciousness."
"Even if his true body is formidable, the energy carried by the descending consciousness can't possibly be much! So, there shouldn't be anything to worry about."
The Lord of the Flameless said this, but "his" arrival caused even time and space to come to a standstill.
And this suspension had somehow spread to Them as well.
