Chapter 6 - Laws of Man do not apply

Draig was wheezing as he had attempted building his strength back up, he was so exhausted he couldn't even think. Every muscle on his body ached and as he looked around his shop he realized that he was once again out of room.

Walking outside he realized that there men trapped in front of his shack, it was only now that he remembered that he had put them there. With a snap of his fingers they were released, it had been a few days by his guess and the once pristine looking armors that they wore were now filthy and dinged up.

"I forgot you were here" stated Draig looking at the group who looked relieved to be freed.

The group in question just stared at the Craftsman that was chosen by the heavens in despair, how does somebody forget that they basically locked up the whole round table.

Draig didn't stay long as he began walking out of the village, the Knights seeing this dared not stay any longer instead opting to go and cleanse themselves while also restoring their groaning stomachs.

It was outside that Draig looked at his precious sack he had made, he called it the bottomless pack. Like it's counterpart it could hold a large amount of items inside but unlike the other it could hold oceans and mountains within. Not that Draig intended to do such a thing... at least for the time being.

It was actually through a bit of personal curiosity that it came to be, having the knowledge of all magic but no practical experience he decided to practice a few things. However magic in this world was different from what he had seen in movies or read in his old world.

In this world magic was nothing more than runes and enchantments used to give mystical effects to ordinary items. However to think this was weak in comparison was nothing more than an idiots rambling, an example would be a sword that could poison an enemy or a hammer that could cause the earth to tremor upon contact.

These were only possible due to the effects of magic, then again in a world where people are born with mystical abilities it balances itself out.

Walking through the domain of beasts and monsters Draig kept patting his new Pack, it would allow him to carry far more than what he used to. However this was also a necessity as with the knowledge of magic he was now aware of how to use monster parts to make weapons to boost the effects of his enchantments.

That in mind Draig was merciless, like some kind of sniper from his old world lightning shot from his finger and seemed to always find it's mark as monsters fell and were soon scrapped for their useful parts.

It was during this little stroll that he ended up coming across a group being surrounded by goblins, keep in mind while goblins as a singular were not worth mentioning when they appeared in great numbers were nothing to be trifled with. The group in question happened to be unlucky but it seemed their luck would turn around as Draig happened to be in need of some parts from goblins.

Like a battle crazed demon Draig stepped into the clearing covered in blood from his previous harvests, the goblins took notice and attempted to rush him but fire spewed from the craftsman's mouth deterring them while roasting those who couldn't get away.

The goblins had resolved themselves that it was no longer viable to stay while this person was here and had intended to leave but earthen walls rose and locked them in the clearing causing them to panic and bang against the walls desperately. A terrible decision as spikes jutted out impaling many while mini spikes stretched across the ground causing more deaths.

The group who had been on the losing end due to the goblins were gobsmacked as they watched the ease in which their foes were handled. Particularly a feminine looking fellow who wore masculine clothing.

Draig paid them no mind as he finished his foes and began scrapping them for their useful parts, another reason he was scrapping these monsters was do to potions as Alchemy could be considered a branch of magic and not just a craft.

Those watching felt like they were going to be sick while some were curious about their saviors actions.

"Excuse me" came the sudden call which revealed the feminine looking fellow was indeed of the fairer sex.

Draig didn't even look up continuing his scrounging, this seemed to tick a few of the soldiers off but none dared to speak out merely throwing scathing gazes to the craftsman.

The lady in question however merely smiled though she was a bit scared as the blood soaked look was something she was unused to and on top of which Draig looked a bit deranged due to his lack of sleep and exhaustion.

"Sir" called the woman again as she saw him stop scrounging.

Draig turned to look at her and just stared, he didn't know what to say. In that sense he waited for her to speak again.

"Hey the princess is talking to you, show your respect" called a brave soldier who happened to be one of those so called flower protectors.

Draig turned to him and lightning crackled around his finger before shooting off and injuring the soldier.

"Next time show your respect" stated Draig lowering his hand.

The now revealed princess stared in awe, from what she had seen the person before her possessed three abilities which was unheard of as no one had seen such thing before. There were those who were lucky enough to wield two but never three however her thoughts were stopped in their tracks when water seemed to condense around Draig and cleanse his body of the blood that had soaked him.

'Four, that's four abilities and they are all of the main elements. This is unheard of in the history of the world, who is this person and why haven't I ever heard of him' thought the princess as she quickly put on a dashing smile.

"Sir warrior, may I have the pleasure of knowing our saviors name" asked the Princess.

Draig looked around for second wondering if there was someone else that had come with him without him knowing.

"Warrior?" asked Draig confused.

"My apologies are sir, perhaps you are a knight" asked the princess gesturing to Draig.

Seemingly coming to a realization Draig just shook his head.

"I'm neither of those things, I'm a craftsman" answered Draig causing the crowd to seemingly face fault.

'BULLSHIT' thought the group in unison.

"Sir, there is no need to worry about us revealing your identity. May I know of which order you are from" asked the princess chuckling while a light drop sweat clung to the side of her head.

"I just told you, I am a craftsman" stated Draig again shaking his head and turning away from the group.

'Stupid people, why am I always being mistaken. Perhaps I have a alter ego I don't know about' thought Draig as he dropped the earthen walls.

The Princess and her entourage deadpanned at the casual display.

"Sir craftsman, I apologize for not believing before" started the Princess deciding to go along with identity she believed Draig was faking.

However Draig did not stop and continued walking.

'Crazy women everywhere I go' lamented Draig

The princess however could only berate herself and silently send one of her soldiers to follow while she returned to her home.

It was apparent to her that this man cared not for the laws of man, he had disregarded her identity entirely but with the power he possessed could anyone refute him.
