Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

I went in hoping that nothing bad was going to happen. I was shaking when I was walking in the room. When I peaked in I saw my mom on the floor and Kacey in the corner with a knife. I saw a blood coming from her stomach and a reddish purple around her neck as if she was choking. I fell to the ground shaking, and hoping this was just a dream."Now we can love each other forever", I heard from the distance."What", I said confused."We can love each other all we want now", Kacey said with a terrified voice. She came to me and sat down on her legs. She started to hug me, but I pushed away and got up to run. My legs froze and my legs started to hurt. She started to walk to me slowly. I finally focused myself and tried to run up stairs."Nothing can keep us apart now", Kacey said walking up the stairs. "Eliza", I yelled while running to my room. I shut the door and locked it."What's going on", Eliza asked crying on my bed. "It- It was Kacey", I said scared."Is she bleeding", Eliza asked. I sat down in the corner beside the door hearing Kacey walking slowly to the door." No, she killed my m-mom", I said terrified. "Why did you lock me out ", Kacey said. I saw her stab through the door, so I ran to my bed. There was no escape, we were locked in my room. I see Eliza laying down behind laying down crying. " let me in", Kacey screamed making a hole in the door. I remembered that my phone was under my pillow."Eliza, my phone is under my pillow can you grab it. I was thinking where dad was the whole time this was happening. "Here", Eliza said with fear and a tear on her face. I wiped the tear off her cheek and said,"Everything will be okay." She hugged me while Kacey busted through the door. I heard the door open downstairs and was hoping it was dad. Kacey looked toward the door and started to run downstairs. "Run dad", I yelled. I started to hug Eliza and got on my phone. I checked the battery and it was at 1%. I tried to call the cops before it died but it died as soon I tried to call them. I started to try and find my charger, but I heard someone come upstairs. I found my charger and I put my phone on charge as fast I could. I sat on the bed and waited until someone came in. It was Kacey and she had blood on her face and on the knife. I could see the blood dripping on my floor. "Now we are back to where we started", Kacey said trying to get some air. She had lifeless eyes and she started to look at Eliza."Don't touch him", Kacey screamed while running toward Eliza with the knife toward her. Before she could reach Eliza I kicked her in her stomach and grabbed Eliza and ran out my door. I could see trail of blood going downstairs. I saw my dad on the floor in kitchen dead with the trail of blood coming from him. I tried to open the door and get out but Kacey grabbed Eliza and yanked her out of my hands."This is what you get for hugging him", She said with the knife pointed down at Eliza. I could see Eliza crying. I tried to grab Eliza and yanked hard enough so she couldn't get stabbed, but Kacey cut her shoulder as soon as I yanked her out of Kacey's grip.  I fell back with Eliza on me. I pushed Eliza away before she got stabbed,but when I did Kacey stabbed my leg.  I felt pain coming from my leg. I tried to reach for the door, but Kacey grabbed me and pulled me onto the couch. "Sorry,but I have to kill her for our safety", Kacey said letting me go. "Eliza run", I yelled crying. "This can't be happening", I said to myself. "Ahhhhh", I heard from the distance. I was hoping that Eliza was fine, but when I saw Kacey I knew she was dead."Here", Kacey said handing me a towel. I tied it around the cut to stop the bleeding, and asked, "What did you do to her.""Close your eyes", Kacey said getting me confused. I closed my eyes and hoped for the best. I felt a slight pain in my shoulder and Kacey said," You can open your eyes now." I open my eyes and saw Kacey with a needle. "What did you put in me", I asked. "Just something that will keep you with me at all times", she said looking at me with her lifeless eyes. "Your going to have to take this everyday unless you want to die", she said holding a bottle of liquid in my face. I wanted to scream or something, but I knew that if I did then she would throw the liquid away so I couldn't reach it. I didn't know what to do, so I tried to look around to find something, but there was nothing. I couldn't do anything since I have a stabbed leg and Kacey blackmailing me. I started to see Kacey go toward the door she came from when she killed Eliza. I started to try and get up and get to the front door, but when I got half way there I fell. I could see Kacey dragging Eliza's dead body behind me."She's not dead", Kacey said letting go of her hand."I just knock her out", She said walking toward me. She grabbed my leg and dragged me onto the couch again. I could see Eliza knocked out cold."Why are you doing this", I said with anger and feeling the pain coming from my leg. "Because I love you honey", Kacey said. "I won't let anyone take you away from me", Kacey said sitting beside my feet on the other side of the couch. "It doesn't mean you needed to kill everybody near me", I said. I looked at Eliza and asked Kacey ,"What are you going to do to us?" "I'm going keep you by my side and Keep Eliza tied somewhere", Kacey said looking around for something. Kacey started to grab Eliza and drugged her to the kitchen where my dads dead body was. She started to walk toward me after letting go of Eliza. Kacey grabbed me and brought me upstairs to my room. I started to think if Kacey was the one that killed the bully, but why would she do that? She didn't know anything about the bully. She was knew to the school. She laid me at the other side of the bed where the wall was. She started to sit next to me. "Are you the one that killed the bully", I asked. "No", she answered. I started to think that they just ran away from home, but why would they do that? I looked outside and it was nighttime. "What are we going to do about school", I asked. "You can't just keep me here, and I could tell everyone what's going on", I said. " If you do then y'all would die from the poison that I put in you and Eliza. I'm the one who has the antidote, and if you do tell anyone then I'll kill everyone you love", she said threatening me. She was right. She has the antidote and we could die without it. I didn't know she put it in Eliza though. "I'm going to tell Eliza all about this when we wake up for school", Kacey said while starting to lay down next to me. I started to wonder why she didn't kill Eliza. My eyes started to get tired though, so I closed my eyes, and hoped that tomorrow would be a better day.
