Chapter 5 - Meng Han's Rise

Meng Jing and Meng Fan eyes expanded when they saw Meng Tan flew off the stage and Elder Tang looked at Meng Han and complimented "Hmmm, very good Perfect Completion, it seems this kid has skill." Meng Fan frowned once he heard the compliment but whispered to Meng Jing on the side "Don't worry he won't survive later rounds once he gets kicked out he will be your toy." Meng Jing nodded at Meng Fan but was still worried inside as she personally knew about his previous accomplishments. She consoled herself "It is fine later the differences will show in cultivation speed and I will be able to beat him with the back of my hand." She was confident in her Ice Wolf variant and her talent. Meng Han decided not to use his eye unless he had to because it would probably be bad if others found out about his powers. He checked his ticket and the arena number didn't change so he stayed there. After everyone's matches ended the elder announced the second round was going to start and all the people started moving to their respective areas. Meng Han's next opponent was Meng Tian. Meng Tian was a "friend" of Meng Han and was a year older than Meng Han. He would go around and would do whatever to please Meng Han, obviously, Meng Han knew that Tian was just trying to get benefits from him and just ignored Tian. After the awakening, Meng Tian never went to see Meng Han like usual and now looked at Meng Han with disdain as he spoke "Hello, I thought you would be a genius but it seemed my eyes are bad, now you better jump off the stage or else I will have to take out my anger on you now." Meng Han didn't care and heard to the side Elder Tang say "Match start". Without giving Meng Tian time to do anything else Meng Han activated the Qi Finger Beam and a flash of white streaked across the stage and hit Meng Lian on the chest. Just like Meng Tan, Meng Lian fell on his back and Meng Fan and Meng Jing was similarly shocked. Meng Fan finally took Meng Han seriously "He knows 2 moves at perfect completion, and he reached Qi Condensation with a Blue Koi. Something isn't right." Meng Jing was having similar thoughts "Did I make a mistake, I was just jealous of him and hated my dad for keeping him in our home but now something doesn't seem right, is this why dad talks about his dad so highly?" The next couple of rounds went by and it was finally the semi-finals. Meng Han finished the next couple of rounds the same as the first 2 rounds, Meng Fan was now convinced that Meng Han was going to be a problem to deal with and thought "This Meng Han currently is a genius in early Qi condensation maybe I can convince Meng Jing to leave him alone for now." Meng Jing was the complete opposite she had her fist closed and a face of jealousy. Elder Tang was smiling "The last 4 contestants are geniuses and these final matches will be very interesting let me introduce the matches. Meng Li vs Meng Han and Meng Qiang vs Meng Wei." Meng Li had awakened the Ice Peacock like Meng Lianjia and was said to be a clan genius it took her a year and she reached Qi Condensation stage 4. Meng Han got to the stage and saw Meng Li's silent stare and looked at her with an even colder stare. In the background Elder Tang "MATCH START!!!" Meng Li activated her "7 clover sword attack" it was practiced to master class and it sent a powerful sword slash. Meng Han didn't even move and activated his Wind Lightning Scaled Wings. The slash hit Meng Han and Meng Li was about to get off the stage like a winner but when the dust cleared Meng Han didn't have a single mark on him and the lightning flashed around his body with blue scales protecting his body. Meng Han gave a chilling smile and appeared right in front of Meng Li and used the 3 Spiral Wave Palm to throw her off the stage. With both the physical prowess of the Wind Lightning Scaled Wings and the power of the 3 Spiral Wave Palm she had no way to defend and was thrown off the stage in a brutal manner. Everyone even the elder was surprised that she lost to the "trash" with the Blue Koi marital spirit. Meng Fan looked at Meng Jing and asked: "You don't need to worry about him, leave him alone and he will leave us alone there is no need to provoke him." Meng Jing was pissed at Meng Fan when he said this and said to him "What genius are you, you were born with a variant Ice peacock but still want to leave him alone? You won't marry me without killing him." Meng Fan looked at her and then looked at Meng Han and told himself "It is okay, he has a Blue Koi he won't have a bright future, it is for my love, sorry Meng Han you will have to be my sacrificial love lamb." Honestly, he didn't want to kill Meng Han since he could be a help to the Meng Clan but if it's for his love, he would do whatever is within his power. The other match finished and Meng Qiang trumped Meng Wei and Elder Tang announced: "The next match is the finals we will start now." Meng Han and Meng Qiang walked onto the stage. Meng Qiang has an awakened spirit of the Fire Hammer, Meng Qiang was born from a fire clan and ice clan member and was born with a fire hammer spirit which has powerful cultivation speed and offensive attacks. Meng Qiang is currently at Qi Condensation stage 4 like Meng Li but if they fought she would lose. The elder shouted "Match start" and they both started attacking.
