Chapter 5 - ☆4

Sir G showed some sort of fancy for Ma'am X from a certain part of their friendship. He was into secular women then and overlooked the potential of a good relationship with her. She accepted the outcome as it unfurled before her. Sometimes in the past they would talk, but other times a long lapse of days before either would send a message to the other. She was stunned when one day he told her that he wanted to have a relationship with her. She was reluctant because she knew that the relationship could be stormy or abnormal. Her heart hurt a lot at that time. She silently was in love with him. Ma'am C was opposed to their relationship, and so they met how they could. Sir G entered a time in his life where he was indecisive as to what he wanted. One day in fall time, he broke her heart and left her. She entered a period where the world around her became like the snow capped Alps. She tried to stay strong but each night cried silent tears. She put up her walls around her heart after that. She lived a life of solitude for a year. She tried to date another young man but didn't find his company enjoyable. He was not Sir G, who she secretly loved and tried to forget. She ended the the one hour relationship after the first kiss. She fought her demons again. Suffering from depression yet again, she closed herself in her chambers not eating or drinking unless necessary. She plastered on a smile telling everyone that life was alright and put on airs to divert their attention from the brewing truth that she was hurting. When attending church, she would put on the air of indifference and showed zero attention to the young men when possible. Her quite solitude was nature, where she would retreat from everyone. As time came, new men started to attend the church. Ma'am X avoided them the best way she could. One in particular gave her grievance and followed her without her permission. She would silently nash her teeth and hope that he would go away. Fate seemed to cruelly laugh at her causing goosebumps to rise on her pearly skin. Sir G reentered her life soon after again. She at first refused to interact acting icey, but he slowly warmed his way back in her heart. She watched his every word and action with suspicion and suspense. She slowly relaxed in his company. They slowly crossed paths more frequently. Her heart started to melt once more under his influence and tender care. She loved him stronger now than she did in the past. "Ma'am X, what happened to you huh?" Sir G smiled at her making her feel like spring came early melting the frost of winter from her soul.
