The boy of about 18 years of age; wearing blue jeans, a shirt, worn out shoes, and a used coat, was walking on the side of the street with the only light as street lamps. To what the surroundings appear to be the 21st century. The sun was already set as the boy was walking on the lonely sidewalk at midnight. To where he is going no one knows but himself.

The boy who is quietly walking notices a twinkle in the pitch black sky. He turns ignoring the small light in the moonles night sky.

He continues walking. Appearing to be in no hurry to get to where he is going. A car passes bringing with it a chilling breeze. The boy trembled and pulled his coat tighter trying to keep warm.

He checks his phone several times. Sighing in contemplation of who knows what. The boy puts his hands in his coat pockets as a cool breeze sets in the night air.

He soon notices the light once again in the pitch black distance. The once small light growing at a steady pace. The boy again shrugs it off as he keeps walking.

Then there was a flash of light as the object enters the atmosphere. Giving the once black abyss of the night a glow of something ominous. The boy, who realizes it, speeds up the pace while taking a glance at the erie sight.

He soon notices the object heading for his direction. He picks up the pace into a slight run.

The object glowing ever more brightly as it descends on to the earth. The boy finally breaking into a run as the object gets closer. He turns into a new street as he believes he is now safe. He then starts to walk again.

As he walks down the street he sees the object hurdling towards him.

"What the fuck!" the boy screams as he takes off running in the opposite direction.

The object coming towards him getting brighter and brighter. The boy takes out his phone and calls 911.

"Hello what's your emergency?" the lady on the other side asks. The boy panting yells into the phone " There's a fucking comet abou.....".

BooOOOooOOOoOOoOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!

The 2' by 2' somewhat rounded metallic comet smashes into the anguished boy. Making a 10' wide and 4' deep crater in the asphalt.

The metallic comet inside the crater melts into a liquid sludge devouring the boys body and bloody remnants before finally sinking into the ground. Leaving nothing behind besides a crater as evidence that anything happened in that moonles pitch black night.
