Chapter 4 - Trouble

"Miss" a distant voice called

"Oi! Miss" It called again making the haze in my head clear

"Miss if ya don't wake up, your horse s'gonna ended up eatin' me for lunch he is!" To those frantic words my eyes shot open only to realize that it had been a mistake, I groaned and planted my right hand on the black saddle I was sitting on and my left on my aching head "What in the name?" I mumbled trying to take in my surroundings only to find that we were in the middle of the woods with nothing else in sight

" 'Bout time ya little chit, why doncha call off yer beast now aye," said a voice seemingly coming out of nowhere

Dots head snapped at the insult at the same time that Tris rose to his full height towering over a man that Dot hadn't noticed until now. The man was back to back with a tree, legs shaking and clothes torn and shredded. It looked like he's been living in the woods for quite some time, his appearance wasn't something Dot could say was appealing but Dot wasn't one to judge people based on their looks, no matter how dirty, what made Dot narrow her eyes in distaste was the man's use of language towards her.

The man's face was square shaped and his eyes narrow, his teeth matched the sun when he smiled showing off the gaps and holes inside his mouth. Jord couldn't believe his luck when he saw the horse; a bloody Mustang just walkin' around with a saddle and no owner, he thought himself even luckier when he saw the horse did, in fact, have an owner and that owner was just as beautiful as the horse and could be sold for just as much. But the minute Jord tried to touch the girl, the bloody horse almost took his bloody head clean off. If he wasn't for his fast reflexes and his experience with wild horses, Jord wouldn't be breathing right 'bout now. It came as a surprise to him since for as long as he could remember he's been good with horses, his mother said he had the touch, a gift his father also had, so it really surprised him when the Mustang would let up its glare even when he cooed and made reassuring sounds. For almost an hour he tried but only resulted in failure the only option he had was to wake the chit up and use his manly charms to get her

After a few polite calls to the sleeping girl, Jords patience was thinning until he finally he broke and decided he would use his last resort, force to get her back to his base but when his eyes met hers all his plans of selling the girl went down the drain and his briefs grew tighter and his arousal spread all over his body, Jord decided then that no he would not be sellin' her, she would be his and only his, his mother was always buggin' him to get a wife anyway so it'd be killing two birds with one stone

But the horse had to go, it was annoying the shit out of him with its human-like eyes, and human-like glare

"Can I help you, sir?" Dot said curtly, noticing the prominent bulge below his waist, her insides were burning in disgust as the man stood straighter not bothering to hide his obvious arousal and smiled a smile that did not fit his hungry eyes

"Yes, yes I think ya can girly not too far from here my mother's very, very ill and is in need of uh.." he paused as if searching for something to say "er She's in need of aid from a woman yer see" he finished smiling feeling proud of himself surely he didn't think I was that dumb, did he?

Dot felt severely insulted, is this what men outside were like? Sure after she got married she never left the estate but she'd met her husband's client throughout the years and most of them never showed disrespect to her, at least not to her face. Did he think her so stupid as to believe his story and actually go with him? Dot looked at the look in his eye and the smug smile as if patting himself on the back, dear God it seemed he did believe she was that stupid.

Tris, it seemed felt the same way I did if the spark of amusement in his eyes was any indication

After a few minutes of calculating my odds, I finally devised a plan and was to play along with the slave trader until she found an opportunity to run, she didn't know if he had companions hiding in the woods so this was the only option she could think of that would leave Tris and her unharmed, so with a smile that Dot usually gave to some of the most unbearable clients she pretended to believe the fool

"Oh dear, is she injured?"
