Xia Ning was surprised when she saw the man. She didn't expect to see him here.
"Are you done?" Qiao Yu asked Xia Ning.
Xia Ning nodded. "Yes."
"Let's go home then." Qiao Yu took her hand after that and led her to the elevator.
Xia Ning gave Jin Yan a silent nod and followed Qiao Yu. The guy had some wrong idea about her and Jin Yan and she really didn't want to aggravate it. Now wasn't a good time to talk to Jin Yan and she was sure that Jin Yan could understand.
The elevator door closed. Jin Yan remained where he was, smiling. He knew that the man had ignored him deliberately. He could sense his hostility.
He didn't know that he could be a threat. How interesting.
Lu Chuan and Zhao Chong came back shortly afterward, both looking rather cheerful. It seemed that their talk had gone well.
"Where's Xia Ning?" asked Lu Chuan.
Jin Yan smiled. "She left with her friend."
