In the Qiao mansion, Gao Wanhua was surprised when she saw Xia Ning and Qiao Yu come back together.
"Why did you come back so early today?" She asked Qiao Yu.
Xia Ning glanced at Qiao Yu and walked towards Enoch.
"Mummy, hug me!" Enoch opened his arms towards Xia Ning.
As soon as Xia Ning and Qiao Yu came inside, he had been joyful, obviously not having expected his mother's early return.
Holding Enoch in her arms, Xia Ning sat on the sofa and asked gently, "Have you had a good breakfast?"
"Yes, Mummy. I had a big bowl of adzuki porridge." Enoch nodded furiously. He pulled at the small balls on Xia Ning's nylon coat, "Mummy, I want to eat something you cook."
"Okay, Mummy will cook for you at noon." Xia Ning caressed Enoch's head, smiling, "What do you want to eat?"
"I love everything Mummy cooks!" Enoch looked at Xia Ning with keen anticipation.
