At the Qiao family's mansion, Xia Ning was helping to prepare food in the kitchen when she heard the commotion outside. It seemed like Qiao Yu had returned.
She walked out of the kitchen and saw Qiao Yu.
"I'm back!" Xia Ning walked over and took the briefcase from him.
Qiao Yu looked at her and asked,"are you cooking?"
"Yes, the food is almost ready." With that, she turned around and prepared to go upstairs to help him put his bag.
Looking at her back, Qiao Yu's lips curved up slightly.
He clearly wanted to go up to change as well and didn't need her to carry his bag, but she liked to do unnecessary things. However, he liked it.
On the second floor, Xia Ning was about to return to the master bedroom when Qiao Yu pulled her up to the third floor. He also took her briefcase from her hand.
"What's wrong?" Xia Ning looked at him in confusion.
"I have some business to deal with." Qiao Yu replied.
