The further she walked, the more Xia Ning's body reacted. Her legs began to tremble and when the water reached her chest, she stopped in her tracks. She didn't dare to move any further. Most importantly, she didn't even dare to open her eyes.
She could hear the sound of the surging sea, and the coldness of the water invaded all her senses. She felt as if she was in the center of a Whirlpool, and the fear spread from the bottom of her feet to the top of her head, making her scalp numb!
"Mommy, we're not going any further. Open your eyes." Enoch's voice rang in her ears, and a pair of small hands were even messing around with her eyes.
It was her son's voice. Xia Ning furrowed her brows and regained her senses.
"Mommy, I'm really fine. Open your eyes!" Enoch's voice came again.
Xia Ning reached out and grabbed Enoch's little hand. They were right beside her, and that was the power to overcome her fear.
