"Really?!?" I asked Luke, moving my drink to the side.
"Yeah, but I can't really show you anything, but I do have heightened senses. " He said.
"I never met anyone from the special beings program, a werewolf at that," Ivy said. He smiled at her and nodded his head before turning to take a sip of his drink.
And just then, a bell echoed through the tea shop and some other students started leaving.
"Well Let's go, wouldn't want to be late for class," Luke said, looking at me. I glared at him.
"That wasn't my fault!" I said while grabbing my bag.
" First and second period Sara," Luke said.
I blushed slightly and fiddled with my fingers.
"It wasn't my fault," I said.
"Right," he said, but clearly didn't believe me. I felt bad lying to him, but I couldn't exactly tell him that I have random and a weird feeling towards him. How would I even I explain that to him?
The walk to the school was quiet and the guys barely said anything while Violet, Ivy and Me didn't know how to start a conversation. Eventually, we got to the school and scrambled to our classes not wanting to spend another second in awkward silence.

I took a sigh of relief before opening the door to my next class, Which was advisory. I completely forgot that Luke would be in my advisory class. I wanted to rush out and hide until the second bell rung, but unfortunately, it rung as soon as I turned around.
I slowly walked towards an empty desk and sat down in it. I looked around and saw that Luke was nowhere to be seen. I took a sigh of relive before someone came and slammed their books on the table. I jumped up in shock and looked to my side to see a girl glaring at me. I looked back at the front of the class to stop any sort of conversation with the girl who was obviously mad at me. Sadly, she soon cleared her throat.
"So, why didn't you listen to Emily's warning? hm?" the black haired girl asked.
"Why do you care?" I asked her, still looking at the front of the class. "Last time I checked she wasn't talking to you," I said.
"Well, let's just say a favor for a favor. now, stop avoiding the question, why are you still hanging out with Luke," she said again. I rolled my eyes before looking at her with an annoyed face.
"Do you guys do this to every girl that Luke hangs out with? honestly." I said.
"you can talk to him like a normal person and if your to scared to do that leave me the hell alone," I said, grabbing my stuff ready to move to another seat, but she grabbed my hand
harshly.
I turned around slowly and stared at her. I wanted to smack her but I'd rather not get sent home because of it. It didn't exactly hurt, but at the same time, it didn't feel too nice either.
"Most Werewolves should have found there mate by now, Luke is supposed to be Emily's mate, So don't blame me when Emily claws your eyes out," she said. she then let go of my hand and turned away.
I was boiling at this point, not only does is this girl annoying, she even laid her hands on me?? I glare at the back of her head and slide my hand toward hers. I gripped her hand as tight as I can, without disabling her of course, but enough to leave a mark. I get close to her ear and whisper,
"The next time Emily or any of you little minions of hers touch me, I won't hesitate to break all of your pretty little fingers off, okay?" I said to her.
Not waiting for a response, I drop her hand and pick up my stuff, moving to another table. I didn't exactly want to hurt her, but they have been taking this a little bit too far anyway. Why were they so worried that I'd take Luke from them? I barely know the guy so why would I date him? I tapped my pencil as I was deep in thought, not realizing the person who sat right next to me.
Luke.
He grasped my hand softly, snapping me out of my trance. When I turned to him he held up my arm slightly and I saw a noticeable bruise starting to form on my wrist.
"what happened?" He whispered.
"Nothing, just twisted it a little, nothing that bad," I said to him. I tugged my hand a little to feel a pinch of pain along my wrist. Luke noticed it and without asking for my consent, rose his hand to get the teachers attention.
"May I take her to the infirmary?" Luke asked, but it sounded less like a question and more like a statement. The teacher simply nodded his head and continued talking about class rules and what not. Luke grabbed both of our things and headed out holding my hand
"I said I was fine!" I whispered to him, but he kept on walking.

Once we arrived at the nurse, I dropped my bag and sat down in a spinning chair and spun in circles. Luke soon came over and stopped the chair with his hand. I almost flew out of the chair but I grabbed Lukes other arm for stability. I looked up at him with a goofy smile while he looked annoyed.
" stop spinning or else you'll get dizzy, and I'm not gonna clean up your puke," he said to me.
But the words simply went into one ear and came out the other.
I was too busy staring into his eyes to notice him staring into mine. My eyes moved all along his face before landing back on his eyes. For some reason, I found his eyes interesting and mysterious. He cleared his throat abruptly before backing away and sitting down on a chair with an ointment and bandages. He softly pulled my injured hand on his leg and started rubbing the ointment on it gently.
I looked up at him to see how focused he was while doing it.
"Luke? May I asked you something?" I said softly.
"Sure," he replied.
" Do all werewolves have mates?" I asked. I felt his hands tense up at the question.
"Yeah, why do you ask?" he said after a few seconds of silence. I shrugged.
"Just curious," I said. We sat there for a few seconds before Luke looked up at me.
"Do you know that-"
"That you don't know who your mate is? yeah" I interrupted him, After all, why would Emily make such a big deal about me talking to him if they were already mates? Both of them would know already, at least I think so, that's what everyone always said about werewolves. He looked up at me with a sad face and dropped my wrapped wrist down.
"So do you.." he paused "you know.." I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Know what?" I said to him. He sighed before forming an actual sentence,
"Do you still want to be friends with me?" He asked looking down, his voice cracking a bit. I felt my heart get heavy when I realized what he meant. I pulled him into a hug and rubbed his back gently.
"Never Luke, I don't know if that's what you think I'll do or if it happened to you so many times that's what you've come to, but either way, you're not getting rid of me that easily," I said to him. He lifted his head up to look at me with his sea blue eyes.
"You mean it?" he asked me, unsure if I was joking or not. I didn't know how to convince him but I still looked him straight in the eyes and smiled.
"With all my heart," I said to him. He smiled lightly before wiping his eyes with his hands. I stopped his hands and used a tissue to wipe them while staring at him.
"what?" he asked, his voice steadier than before.
"Nothing it's just, you have such beautiful eyes," I admitted. He smiled at me.
"Same to you." He said, not losing eye contact with me for even a second. My heart leaped for joy inside of my chest but I kept staring at him. His gaze trailed from my eyes down to my lips, subconsciously, I found myself looking at his lips as well. His back slowly dipped in towards me and I pointed my toes as I scooted my chair closer to him. Soon enough I could feel his warm breath on my lips. My brain paused for a second while I wasn't sure if I was really ready for this, diving head first into another relationship wasn't exactly a smart move. but for some reason, I felt completely at ease with Luke, in fact, It already felt like we were together. But did I really want this?
My thoughts completely vanished when my lips met his, all my worries faded and my mind went blank. I felt my face go pink when we pulled apart. I looked back to his face from the ground searching for any regret in his eyes only to see that he was doing the same to me.
" I-I don't think we should rush things," he blurted out.
I simply nodded before looking back at him with a smile, shyly tucking strands of my brown hair behind my ear. Suddenly, we both saw a flash of light shine on the both of us. We looked over to the entrance of the infirmary and saw Ivy, Jacob, Violet, and Alex huddled together with there phones out. My face turned a deep shade of red before I looked at Ivy and Violet. I almost screamed at them both but they ran away faster than ever, Jacob and Alex following soon after. I took a sigh of relief before turn towards Luke with a blush across my cheeks. Not long after, The bell for our last class rung and Luke looked at me again and stood up.
" I'll see you later?" he said, I nodded before standing up as well, grabbing my things. Luke moved my chin up with his finger and kisses my cheek lightly before pacing to the door. I put my hand on my cheek and smiled lightly before grabbing bag and leaving the infirmary.
