In the Dragi Empire, in the empires royal castle, a girl with stark white hair sat in a room alone, save for a pet cat to keep her company.
Some princess she was,huh.
Well she couldn't be expected to be treated previously, after all, this princesses country was gone afterall.
Her whole family slaughtered, by that damned Grotul Monarchy. That country that was originally some backwater place compared to their rich kingdom, actually managed to assassinate so many key people in their kingdom and launch a assault that ended within a day and a half in sucesss.
Her eldest Brother Hugh, fought very hard to buy that seemingly meager amount of time to try and evacuate the capital city. In the end only 1/3rd of the capital got out in time before everything was burned to the ground.
The people from the Dragi Empire say the final fire was started from within the Royal Castle.
Some people who made it out of the castle say that they heard that the fifth princess Reina set herself and the treasury on fire when she knew that there was no hope left.
She supposedly said before she burnt to death, "If you want to burn our kingdom off the map, then I will also insure that all of our wealth is burned as well. This conquest of yours will ultimately be a financial loss for your country. This is the only thing this fifth princess can do. One day my sister will surely come to your kingdom and burn it down in vengeance. And to the 4th prince of Grotul, you'll regret this day for the rest of your life. Mark my words..."
Faydoll thought this last message was rather ominous, and abit odd as well.
She and her third sister weren't especially close, but Reina surely knew that her second sister was a pillow princess through and through.
Even Faydoll herself admitted this, she was very beautiful with her rare white hair and crystal clear sky blue eyes, but she was lacking in strength.
Her only magic affinity was ice, and it was only a 3/10 on the magic power scale.
Not everyone could use magic so if she was a commoner this could be considered a blessing, but for someone of the beast royal family line, it was so pitiful that when her mother found out her magic proficiency level, she actually cried a little bit, even turning red in the face from embarrassment.
Faydoll released a sigh as she petted her cat, Fumugu.
The ornate chair she sat in was embellished with ice dragons and fire dragons dancing about before intertwining together occasionally in the embroidered pattern.
The chandelier above her shook minutely, a telltale sign of a visitor approaching her room.
Fumugu raised his head, his slightly bent back against his head and twitched his tail before the large mahogany door to her bedroom flung open.
Opening said door was a man that appeared to be in his late 20s with blue hair, a shade so dark it was almost black tied back into a long low lying ponytail.
A stern expression adorned his face, added to by his ice blue eyes with a small slit for a pupil.
The man did not even give Fumugu so much as a glance before briskly walking up to Faydoll and snatching the cat from her hands before flinging it to the nearby king sized princess style bed.
"Cousin Altair, what brings you to see this lowly relative of yours?" Faydoll says in a meek voice her cheeks becoming tinged pink.
The man named Altair ignores the fact that she just asked him a question and pulls her out of her seat roughly, and begins to drag her to the still open door of her room.
Faydoll isnt good with men. Especially ones with obvious communication problems such as this Prince Altair.
Faydoll decided she wasn't going to let this man boss her around again.
Every few days a month, he would come to her room to sulk and berate her.
Faydoll would rather not have any interaction with this man whatsoever.
Not to mention this man was actually a dragon.
"Unhand me!" Faydoll says in a voice as loud as she can muster.
Altair abruptly stops and let's go of her, only to turn around and stare daggers at her.
The air around the two suddenly feels alot denser, more sharp.
Altair suddenly smiles, the not friendly kind 9f smile that is.
He unhappily chuckles to himself before asking, "Do you know who just came to request an audience with you?"
Faydoll blinks twice in confusion before slightly shaking her head sideways in an indication as if to say 'no' to his question.
"Well, I'm sure your great friends with her..."
Faydoll sends a glare towards him, before retorting, " Like I can have any friends, mine are all dead. Alot of help you lot were pertaining to that matter."
Altair stiffens for a moment before a creepy smile appears on his face.
"Fine, then come with me and explain how you dont know these people to the Queen herself!" Altair spits out just inches away from Faydolls face.
Grabbing Faydolls arm again, but this time even harder, he drags the unwilling princess of a fallen kingdom rudely out of her room. The door slams shut with a loud 'Kathunk!'.
Fumugu's eyes narrow slightly as the door slams shut. His white fur now ruffled by that brutish dragons throw. Fumugu contemplates for a moment before gingerly leaping off the bed and slipping out a slightly cracked open window by the bedside.
