"In the end, you never got to tell me your story Violet" Karen drank the juice in her hand as she sat herself beside Violet.
"Rain check?" Violet timidly asked, ashamed that she was not able to return the favor.
"Sure" assuringly replied Karen then raised her left hand to pat Violet's shoulder.
"Sorry about that. Next time, I will definitely tell you" Violet promised apologetically.
"Don't worry about it. I understand how your parents must have felt. If it was me, I would leave no stone unturned until I find my son" joked Karen when she stood up to clean the mess they made.
Violet followed suite to help Karen as she held the other end of the garbage bag. And together, they picked up all their garbage and empty bottles.
Karen tied up the bags and took it outside to dispose of while Violet tidied up the benches, the stage, the counter and lastly, her prizes.
