"How dare you lie in front of an elder!" liang li exclaims angrily. nick looks at her coldly "i have not lied there truly is no one here that matches your description and this elder knows it." he said before staring at the woman coldly. the woman sighs "he's right the only ones here besides us are a couple of demon beast and a spirit gathering girl with both of her eyes." she said honestly. liang li looked at the woman in astonishment "but that's impossible the girl was just a blind beggar a few months ago , there's no way she has changed so much." she said in disbelief. nick shook his head " perhaps you lack the talent to grow so much in that time but she isn't you and as far as her eyes go i gave her a better pair." he said mockingly. " why would you go so far for a mortal?" liang li asked lost. "what you and most cultivators seem to forget is that a single act of malice can define ones life but a single act of kindness can raise a god , you simply chose the wrong option. now leave you've overstayed your welcome." nick said with a hint of threat.
Liang li left dejected with the elder who looked let down but nick didn't care. it didn't take long for omen to show up later and try to smooth things over between nick and the elder who nick learned was called liang yu and was liang li's mother. nick made it clear that he won't kick up a fuss so long as the mother and daughter stay out of his way. omen could only accept that the possibility of friendly relations was impossible and that cold indifference was the best he could expect. he did ask what led to this situation and nick introduced sarina to him before explaining how liang li had stolen her original eyes and he had taken her in and gave her a better pair. omen understood the situation and agreed that he would have probably acted the same in nicks situation. omen congratulated nick on his advancement before he left and said he'd fix the trouble with elder liang.
