The next day Jung Zhillan woke up in a brightly lit room, it took a few minutes for her to get used to the brightness.
Her throat was dry and her head ached, She was still getting adjusted to everything when the room door was pushed open.
She looked up to check who can in, she couldn't remember anything after getting the the bar.
She faintly remembered being led out of the bar by Sheng Mingyu but that couldn't possibly be true as He was outside the country or so she thought.
"Your awake how do you feel? Sheng Mingyu asked as he walked closer.
"Hung over but I should feel better soon" it would seem that Sheng Mingyu was back after being gone for ten years.
"I will get you some water to drink you need to be hydrated" He stood and walked out of the room. He came back few minutes later with a warm glass of water and handed it over to her.
"I Haven't been gone long but I seem to remember you being more level headed than this" he said breaking the silence.
"You mean boring"
"No, you have never been boring to me" he said leaving Jung Zhillan shocked.
The Sheng family were business partners and family friends of the Jung's so they grew up together though she was much closer to his younger cousin Sheng Xinyi.
Sheng Xinyi's father was younger brother to Sheng Mingyu's father after his death in a motor accident Sheng Xinyi was raised by Sheng Mingyu's parents.
Sheng Mingyu was only a few years older than her but had already taken over Sheng group for ten years now. He had even expanded the company further.
"When did you come back" She said changing the topic and breaking the awkward silence.
"Two week ago"
"You look good"
"I heard that you and Lin Zhijie broke up"
"Yes" she said looking at her hands.
"Good, then there's nothing stoping us from being together"
"What" she said shocked.
"I let you go ten years ago because you were together with Lin Zhijie but not any longer"
"What"
"You've already slept on my bed, we may not have slept together but once we do all bets are off because then you will have to marry me. You think about it because when next we meet again I will make you my woman. I will have Uncle Li send a maid up with fresh clothes" He said and walked out of the room leaving her speechless.

Xue Meili had just finished a scene and was going through her next scene in her rest room when the door was pushed open and Tang Fenfeng walked in.
Due to her pregnancy a lot of Tan Fenfeng scenes were brought forward so as to finish shooting before she started showing.
The Director was careful so as not to stress her any more than necessary. Pregnancy really agreed with Tang Fenfeng still looked radiant.
"There you are, Meili how I missed you" Tang Fenfeng said taking a seat opposite her.
"Didn't we speak over the phone this morning"
"Yes but that can't compare with speaking face to face"
"How are you? She said smiling. Tang Fenfeng had been having a very bad morning sickness which was why most of her scenes were shot in the afternoon.
"Tired, I already want everything to be over so I can rest"
"Better not let Cheng Jianyu or Madam Chemg here you"
"I know right, just this morning Mother was suggesting we move back into the family Villa until the Child is born"
"That can't be good considering senior sister Ruolan just move back in"
"She did and it's hasn't been any good considering that she refused to tell anyone why she was getting divorced. I really don't want to move in and then walk on eggshells until I deliver"
"She must have her reasons for the divorce"
"She does but because of how she's keeping silent about everything everyone is not taking it well. Mother is even threatening to hire a private investigator" she said shaking her head.
"wow that's something" Xue Meili replied laughing.
"At least she's talking about it Jianyu is just behaving like nothing happened. I suspect he already knows what happened and is pretending otherwise" she said resting her head on her palm with her elbow placed on the table.
"if his anything like my Jianguo he most definitely is already aware" Xue Meili said with a smile.
Jung Jianguo was one of the smartest persons she had ever met. He always kept his cards so close to his chest that you could never tell what he was up to, seeing as he and Cheng Jianyu were close friends it was safe to assume that they were very much alike.
"I don't doubt that. How was the Jian family banquet, I was feeling weak so we couldn't attend the event" She said in low tones.
"It was good" Xue Meili replied.
"And the Feng Mimi? Tang Fenfeng asked.
"She wasn't present"
"As expected, the Jian family do not acknowledge her at all. She hasn't attended any single event since their engagement"
"Aunty Jian has always been very shrewd, it no surprise that she isn't fooled" Xue Meili said smiling.
"If only Jian Mengyao was even a little bit as smart as her" Tang Fenfeng said with a sigh
"Jian Mengyao has long been fooled, that I believe that it would take him seeing everything with his own eyes to believe" Xue Meili was really disappointed with Jian Mengyao.
After so many years he still kept letting himself to be fooled and with the same old tricks.
A long time ago she might have considered herself in love with him but not since she'd met Jung Jianguo and understood that she had only liked him like a friend but with everything that happened she doubts they could ever be as close as they were before.
"Well I hope that he finally sees her for who she is before it's too late" Tang Fenfeng said
"With everything going on with her it's only a matter of time" Xue Meili replied
"she is almost done with her scenes so very soon we'll be done with her" Tang Fenfeng said.
A few minutes later there was a knock on the door, it was a production assistant sent over to inform Xue Meili that it was time to shoot her next scene.
