Chapter 127 - "Passing on legacies isn't easy at all."

Having escaped far enough by now, Liang Chen stopped.

After searching the area and finding that no one had followed them or was around, he immediately took out a map.

The map was not imprinted on a jade slip, but was instead on a normal piece of paper. This piece of paper seemed ordinary, but it was far, far from it.

When Liang Chen took out that piece of paper, Liang Meng frowned and did not understand how such a frivolous person that would definitely do everything just to get the best stuff that he wanted would actually use a piece of paper for a map, after all she had seen jade slip maps, although expensive, they were still there.

That piece of paper was blank, but after 2 seconds, it the piece of paper seemingly began to shine and show the whole area around them.

Having seen this, Liang Meng could simply not control herself from taking that piece of paper out of Liang Chen's hands and examine it closely.

She was shocked to find that the seemingly normal and ordinary piece of paper was actually filled with invisible and almost indistinct formations, that would send out many kinds of divine senses, and even use sound and many other methods to show everything that was surrounding them.

Seeing Liang Meng's face, Liang Chen knew that he has accomplished what he wanted. He sneered and looked down on her, with an expression that said "I don't like jade slips, they are useless. My stuff is way better."

Liang Meng completely ignored him, which made Liang Chen's face to twist slightly.

After a moment Liang Meng concluded that this was given to him by either Chen Xiao or by the Dragon Race Lord Ao Li. Or he had extorted or stollen it from one of the juniors or the elders.

Seeing that Liang Meng didn't even bother to show the slightest interest on how to acquire one of them, he turnes his head, seemingly in a tantrum. But then he heard Liang Meng's voice, which made his face twist with a sense of loss.

"I like this one, I will take it." Her voice was cold, but within it could be detected a feeling that said 'I like it so I will take it.' These two factors together would make many want to avoid any sort of contact with such people.

Immediately Liang Chen's sense of loss transformed into pride, as he laughed out loud and then he simply looked towards North, and simply said:

"Disciple we are going to the North something Sect and collect protection fees. I will handle the old, you handle the young. This is the start of your training disciple. It's time for master to teach you a lot of things. Remember this, not everything is about cultivation."

Liang Meng had immediately detected the difference in her voice, which made her gaze flicked. She had become way too accustomed to Liang Chen's way of speak, which influenced her unknowingly.

Liang Meng became even more angry when she saw Liang Chen's expression and when she heard his words, she almost went crazy with anger.

Then she heard Liang Chen's voice, although it wasn't loud, and not many would be able to even hear it, she was able to do so.

"Aish, it seems like I will finally be able to pass on my true legacy to a promising disciple. Aish, passing on legacies isn't easy at all."

She took out her spear and her eyes glimmered dangerously at Liang Chen, as she inwardly thought if she had been hit by an illusory magic to put this bastard on the same thought as Grandpa Shi.

She snorted, and simply followed North.

Having seen the dangerous glint in her eyes, Liang Chen cowered a step back, but then coughed and simply continued forward.
