At the beginning he couldn't make any sense with them, but was soon very interested on them.
They all described the story of an invincible genius that travelled the galaxy unhindered with his spear. But halfway that genius discarded his spear, which made Liang Chen frown.
He considered the spear to be the only weapon that truly deserved to be used, and seeing a spear wielder like him diacard his own spear made him full of anger.
From thise images Liang Chen could tell that that young genius loved the spear, but he ended up discarding it.
Liang Chen expected that genius to lose his dao, but instead he saw that genius get stronger as the paintings went by.
At the beginning he fought againts demons, then went after their lords, kings and then their gods.
Then he went to a world dominated by demons and killed them all, making all beings in that world revere him as a god from the heavens.
He was kind and loved. He loved all life, but when necessary he dis not mind killing a few to warn others. He was decisive with his actions, which made Liang Chen nood in approval. That is how a true spearman should act. Well except the part where he either refused rewards or gave them away.
Rewards are so difficult to come by, why should he give them away for free?
That genius fought againts giants, people with wings and people made from the elements. He was the incarnation of invincibility along with his dao.
As the paintings went by Liang Chen realized that a blurry image of a spear could be seen in all of them. It wasn't that the young genius discarded the spear, it was that he no longer needed it. He was the spear itself.
This was a path that very few had taken. Liang Chen realized that his experience was really lacking. He couldn't help but regret somewhat not taking the offer Chen Xiao had given him, but as soon as he finished that thought he immediately beat himself up. How dare he himself try to take the chance of his brother?!
This was not the way he decided to live with his spear.
And besides he already had an excellent and cute disciple that was going to dominate the universe in the future, since that was a given since Liang Meng was his disciple and he was obviously the greatest genius of all. Even this person on the paintings could not compare to his talent; or so he belived himself to be. If anyone heard his thoughts he would be beaten to death.
He once again looked towarss the paintings in the wall and watched as that faint and blurry spear got clearer and clearer.
He charged at worlds filled with demons and evil as he clearer them all and killed evil as he pleased, he comanded armies to charge againts demons and races that lost their way.
He charged at worlds filled with the unknown and brought back lost artifacts and long forgotten history. He brought the best geniuses of the races to those long forgotten places and found many more. All of them proved their dao and made all evil bow down in face of justice.
As Liang Chen was entranced on those paintings he looked towards the last ones, but he noticed he couldn't see them, as if a blurry mist was preventing him from doing so. He tried his best and even used his spear eyes to see it, but he just couldn't.
Realizing this he frownes as he guessed that his cultivation was just too low in order to see it. He, with difficulty to stop his curiosity looked away and started absorbing the meaning of those paintings, as well as the dao of that genius. These were just paintings, and their purpose was to let others see the glory of a genius, not to let others see his dao. But even so traces of it were still present, making Liang Chen engrossed on it.
Outside the Race Lord sighed. He was really impressive when it came to the spear. He could even see him taking a route completely different than the genius in those paintings. Theu were just two completely different people. One was honest and the other was shameless. Even though there were only traces of difference in path, it was still noticeable to those with high accomplishments in cultivation.
