Diablo paced back and forth with his hand to his chin, "so your planet is dead?" he asked for the tenth time now. "indeed…" she replied a little irritated "and you had no idea you were going to end up on earth?" he questioned… again. "Wait this planet is called earth? That's a cool name, I like that name – and yes…" she sat down on a metal stool, then bounced around for it very cold. Chen sat down beside her, chewing an apple. She looked at him with funny face. He shrugged and looked back at Diablo who was literally ripping hair from his scull. "and you're a princess?"
"why does he not understand? I'm I not being clear, I did just learn all the languages on this planet—" she spoke softly to Chen "—there's many on this planet" she muttered to herself as she leaned in closer to Chen who was still crunching into a crisp, green apple. He shrugged and opened his mouth "Diablo—" Diablo spun around at looked at him "yes?"
"your making out alien friend uncomfortable, moreover, you wanted her awake, she's awake, are these the only questions you wish to ask her?" Diablo shook his figure at Chen "good point" he walked up to her and looked carefully at her whole body. "Do you mind if I do a full body analysis?" he asked still scanning for anything human like. She nodded her hand and stood up. "Will I need to hand over all my belongings?" she asked a bit tense and worried. Diablo perked up more, "for the most part—"
"ok, well then—" she began to pull things out from her body in all different places. Their jaws dropped. She looked up at them looking a tad concerned, "where is it?"
"where is what?" Chen asked, she felt around her body "The rose, golden rose—where is it?" she started to panic. Chen and Diablo watched her skin change to a bright orange with yellow sharp streak. She stomped her foot biliously. "WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE POD I WAS IN?" she said peering into there eyes with scowling looked. Chen put his hands up and walked away "don't ask me, Diablo was the one who found yah, I'm just the co-representative mechanic here." He tried to flick his short red-orange hair like your classic hair toss gesture as he walked away with a major flaw in his hip swing walk. Diablo laughed, she kept a sour face. "Diablo—" he slowly turned his head back to the tall alien whose skin was now black with flares of bright red streaks. "y-yes?"
"—what did you do with my pod?" she tried to ask impassively. He put his hand to his head running his hands threw his brown, messy hair. "its in a very secure location that the military has on lockdown twenty-four seven." He cringed hoping she would not hit her.
She backed down, skin changing to a light green again. "ok, how do we get in?" she asked a bit glazed. "you certainly can't go through, you don't look anywhere near human. She gave him a smug look "close your eyes, both of you—"
"hhwwwhyy?" Chen asked with his mouth full of melon. She looked at him a bit veiled. "well, do you wish to be blind for a few days?" she laughed a tad. "just do it Chen" Diablo shot a wry look at him. Chen covered his eyes along with Diablo. "open your eyes and your blind, remember".
The room shifted to an albicant* color. The petals on her head fell into long brown hair, eyes once as dark as the night sky changed into a smaragdine*, and her body shaped more into a human like body. The albicant color disappeared and Chen and Diablo uncovered the eyes, searching the room for her.
When they're eyes targeted her, they wore bug-eyed faces. She laughed so hard she tumbled onto the floor kicking her legs in the air. "did not see that one coming" Chen said glowing. Diablo stood there with his jaw to the floor. He shook his head and turned away. He grabbed one of the white lab coats and threw it at her face. "you can't really walk around the city with no clothes…" he groaned. Chen laughed and walked over to help her put it on before she entangled her self within the jacket.
"well let's go" Diablo grabbed his long black coat and flung it over his shoulders. Chen and her followed him out.
As they climbed into the truck, Chen stopped and stared at her. "just thought bout this, but we haven't asked you your name yet" Chen peered at her. She sat down with Chen beside her and Diablo up front, "oh, my bad! You see, I have to yet translate my name into your language, but so far, I'm ninety-nine percent sure its Pandora" she laughed a little. "to be honest I was wondering when you'd ask, its quite disrespectful on my planet to not perceive ones name you are interacting with—" she covered her mouth realizing she was rambling on and on, acting disrespectful. "well, sorry your highness" Chen had a smug look on his face as he grinned down at her. She laughed scratching the back of her head.
She grabbed his arm as the truck bounced after going over a yellow speed bump. Chen laughed again pushing his red hair from his face. She sat there holding on for dear old life wide-eyed. Diablo shook his head at he two and sped up through the yellow light before it turned red.
Diablo slammed on the breaks and the two flew up to the front seat wide-eyed "why didn't you put your seat belts on?" Diablo grinned evilly at them. Chen frowned and jumped out of the truck, giving Pandora a hand. She looked around reaching for a petal to lift, Chen laughed again "what are you doing?" he couldn't stop giggling. "oh, my bad—do you humans not bow after exiting a way of transportation?—is this not alive?" she muffled under the rest of her sentence. Diablo spun around rapidly, grabbing her wrists—holding them up "what kind of transportation did your planet use?" he asked prancing around like a deer. "hmm, that's a tough one—"
"how could it be hard?"
"well, we have so many different creatures along with so many different lands but only three main kingdoms yet we have over a million different ways of transportation—" Chen and Diablo sat down on the truck tail gate "—I know in my kingdom, the kingdom of life—we tend to use our light drakes and extremely cute giant cats that have quite unique tails one might say" she started to dance around and shift into a white cat like shape—it had ten tails, all made of different gases and poisons. Gas masks appeared on their faces. -you'll need them if you want to live- a voice said in their heads -wait are you in my head?!- Chen started scratching his head like as if he was going insane. -This is new- Diablos voice spread through Chens head. -Indeed, but its necessary you don't talk while I'm in this form, one breath and your dead- she laughed a tad. She walked up to them, biting the fabric on their jackets—and placing them on her back. She leaped up into the air and over the giant wall in front of them -huh, well this is a way easier way of getting in then I had planned- Diablo sighed a tad grumpy. Pandora laughed and landed onto a tall pillar in the sky, also known as a crane.
Diablo pointed out to a fairly large shades-of-black pod, as Pandora stumbled and grasping to stabilize herself. Chen was holding on to her pulling out little strands of white silky fur slowly, she hissed and snapped at him.
She leaped down and leaned over, Diablo and Chen slid down her neck and she shivered as their cold hearts slipped through her mind. She starred at them for a second wondering why their hearts where so cold.
Diablo waved over at her and she shifted back down to her human form. She quickly swooped in and scrambled through her belongings in the pod "ahh! Where is it?" she growled scratching her head fiercely. Chen was sitting on top of the pod. He spotted a golden rose and scooped it up. "Pandora, what is this?" he tilted his head a little. She quickly leaped up beside him on her legs like a frog. "give here please!" she demanded rudely" He handed it over with a flinch. She examined it very hardly. She pressed it up against her chest with a sigh. "thank you, Chen, I was worried sick it may have been lost some how"
"what is that" Chen asked her "and why is it so important?". Pandora sat down with a slouch. "It was a gift from my fianc—somebody dear to me" a tear dripped down her face "and it has a special ability which only I and the people of my planet know of, I'm afraid I can not trust you with its secret yet—"
