No matter how restless mi jung felt, he still caught something strange with what haneul said. There were too many loopholes in the story. Knitting his eyebrows he contemplated whether to ask further or let it go. But his curiosity still got the best of him.
"Why was i in the rooftop? Weren't we doing the interview all together? Did no one notice me disappearing?"
Seeing haneul's expression not changing at all mi jung was persuaded further that haneul was not a simple man. He was hiding things without any shame or remorse that it made mi jung feel threatened.
Haneul looked at mi jung in the eyes for a second before turning his back to him to take out some clothes for the latter. He picked a jean and a shirt.
The boy had no sense of fashion that it was ridiculous. After a few disaster class combinations mi jung made haneul could no longer stand at the side watching so he started choosing what mi jung would wear everyday.
"Interview was done with pairs . We were the last pair. You told me you were going to take some air. And you were.. No, the old you were pretty distant and willful. You would do whatever you wanted without asking or waiting for permission. But well, since you were good at your job nobody tried to stop these bad habits of yours. That is why i didn't read much into it when you said you were just going to get a breather. But after a few minutes the crash happened. I didn't even think you would be involved in it."
Haneul turned back to mi jung and walked towards him to set the cover to the side. He pulled mi jung by the hand out of his bed. The boy loved his bed as much as he loved working.
Mi jung just looked at haneul's eyes and didn't utter a word. His mother always said that eyes were windows to the heart. If you looked careful enough you could see the people's feelings.
But haneul's eyes were shining brightly with nothing but honesty. The two orbs gazed at him straight in the eyes without blinking that it made mi jung gave a big sigh. There was no way he could ask for more after seeing his eyes brimming with honesty.
He looked down seeing their hands were still clasped together and gave haneul a look. The dense man didn't realize anything out of ordinary so he gazed back. Mi jung raised their clasped hands up and tilted his head to the side to point to their hands.
"Are you planning on showering with me?"
Haneul gave a smirk. If mi jung thought these things would make him embarassed he had a lot more things to learn about him.
This little fairy in front of him, especially when he tilted his head to the side, looked so adorable that haneul couldn't help but tease him. He took a step forward and closed the gap between them. Leaning towards him, he whispered into the latter's ear.
"I am. Do you have any objections?"
Even though there was no change that could be seen on mi jung's face he was flustered silly on the inside. He had never been this close to a man before except for medical purposes. He didn't know what to say to this boy in front of him. Anyway why was he this close?
Mi jung took a step back. He felt more comfortable with some distance between them. His heart was beating wildly in his chest. The only thing he could do was praying so that the man looking at him with a smirk on his face wouldn't hear a thing.
"I do. You take forever to shower. Moreover aren't you a little too close?"
Mi jung forcefully took his hand out of haneul's grasp and went past him to go to the bathroom inside their room.
Seeing him sulking like a little child made the corners of the man's lips curve a little. He tried to hold his laugh back so as to not to anger the embarassed fairy more than he already was.
Even thought the boy didn't show any emotions on the surface haneul still caught sight of a pair of crimson ears. They were so red that he wanted to bite them off. Getting embarassed by the thoughts running in his head, haneul gave a little cough.
"We have a photoshoot today and it will take more than a few hours. Make sure you dry your hair and don't forget to take your pills with you. And a jacket."
Mi jung just gave a hum as a response. It was going to be a long long day.
