The promised day arrived and to be honest, I didn't sleep that well. I was thinking about the dangers and unexpected problems that could pop up out of nowhere during the process. But I am actually nervous about what's to come.
The storeroom is situated at the corner of the school area in the north-east direction. It is mainly used to keep important assets for sports clubs like volleyball nets, all kinds of sports ball and even cleaning tools.
What I'm trying to imply here is that only sports club members come to the storeroom, and it is just when their club activities start and ends for the day. This would be an ideal place to make Ryusaki confess his love.
After school would be the perfect time to execute the plan. Still, I wonder if it is too early for those two. Maybe they are not that ready to accept each other's feelings.
But I am taking a gamble here. It all depends on today's work. There's a saying that goes like this,
'Strike the iron when it's still hot.'
And I am relying on that saying to make this plan work. If I fail, 10,000¥ are coming off my purse. God knows where will I find this kind of amount. Anyway, I shouldn't think about only the bad consequences.
Always think of the success of the plan and everything will go well.
.....
"For the whole day, we won't cause Ryusaki and Miyake any problem."
"I don't get it. First we bully them harshly and now we let them be just like that. What's that gonna help?"
"This will let Ryusaki's guard to loosen up a bit. And when that moment arrives, you know what we must do, right?"
"Sure. After all, it's your plan. I won't question more about your method."
Oh and lastly, I wanted to confirm something.
"Kinoshita, did you do what you were asked to do?"
"There's nothing to worry about. It's been settled."
"Good work. Now we are fully prepared."
All we can do now is wait until school is over. For the time being, I'll try to relax, by skipping class. I asked Aki to come with me but surprisingly, she refused and instead wanted to learn. It can't be helped.
Keeping my bag beside me, I was at the rooftop and was leaning my back on a wall. The fresh air of the winter was smoothly touching my face. I didn't know that skipping class was 'that' good till now.
.....
I was up the rooftop for quite some time. I think it was lunch break already. But this relaxing place made me lazy and thus, I didn't want to go to the cafeteria. Plus, I don't want to get myself mentally tired before the action.
So I took out the lunchbox that Aki made for me. I took my time savouring this delicious food while enjoying the sight of the beautiful pale blue sky.
*Crreeeeaak*
It was the sound of the rusted door that leads to the rooftop. And a boy was standing still with an expressionless face. He gave off a 'bad boy' vibe when he started walking towards me. He had black hairs and was looking at me with his dark eyes.
Those dark eyes were somehow creepy but alluring to me. The strange boy was walking casually, without making any loud footsteps. He kept his attention on me.
I was really cautious, so I prepared myself if there was gonna be a fight. But strangely enough, he stopped in front of me and sat beside me.
"..."
"..."
What does this guy want? Anyway, I'll ignore him and continue eating my lunch. This guy didn't say anything and was staring at the sky. He stayed silent until I finished my food.
"..."
He was still looking at the sky. His presence is really annoying me now. I put the lunchbox in my bag and picked it up. I was about to leave when suddenly,
"Were you skipping class?"
The boy called out to me in an uncaring and bored attitude.
"No. What's that got to do with you?"
"Nothing really. I was wondering how you were learning on this rooftop during those 5 periods."
He is really not believing in me. But why is he so stubborn about believing that I really was skipping. I don't want to get involved with him but his behaviour is kind of annoying me.
"What do you want from me?"
"..."
He slowly closed his eyes and breathed in some fresh air. After exhaling it he slowly turned his head to look at me with his creepy dark eyes. I was overwhelmed by those eyes.
He stood up nonchalantly, not getting his sight off of me. His gait when walking towards me was even superior, compared to that of Hitomi Ayame. He is dangerous and I can sense it.
"I just have one question that I really want to know from you."
"...What?"
He kept looking into my eyes and didn't set his sight off for even one second. I feel like I'm being sucked into his eyes. I couldn't move from the place I was standing.
My legs wouldn't reply to the messages that my brain sent. The only thing that I could do was to look at him.
"Are you usually like this every day?"
"...Like...what?"
He was scratching his head which seemed like he was trying to remember what he was gonna say.
"You seem like, how do I say it, uuuummmm...., forced?"
"Forced?... What do you mean by 'forced'?"
"Uuuumm. Like, every day you seem like you are forcing yourself to do things that you don't really want to do if that seems understandable to you."
Is he alright?
"I don't know what are you trying to imply here but I have to go."
"It doesn't seem like it's urgent."
"No, I guarantee you that it is. Look."
I pointed at the rusty door which leads to the rooftop. The timing was great as the door opened at that very moment. It was opened with a brute force so it made a very loud noise.
Aki's tired and worried face was kind of pleasing me a bit but was also quite troubling to me.
"Tenma! We have a bit of a problem."
Aki, who hasn't still noticed that creepy guy, apparently, wanted to meet me for some urgent work. It was at the start of the lunch break that I received her message. But I ignored her and continued to eat my lunch until that guy came.
After I realised that this guy was kind of dangerous to be with, I secretly messaged Aki, saying that I was on the rooftop. It was a cowardly way to escape but, this guy has an eerie atmosphere around him and I don't want to be involved with him as much as possible.
"As you can see my best friend is here so I'm a bit unhappy that I don't have time to keep you company."
"You don't seem like it though?"
I glared at him, wanting to strangle that throat of his to keep him from talking. But I stayed composed and left him without saying anything.
.....
"So what's the problem?"
"It's the rich girl."
"Hitomi Ayame? What's her problem now!?"
"Well..., it will be best if you personally listen to her."
*Sigh*
Seriously, I wanted that all of the procedures would go smoothly but everything won't go your way every time I guess.

Hey guys, I actually forgot to say that I'm gonna change the protagonist' name, Kaburagi Lelouch to Kaburagi Tenma because I feel embarrassed to write Lelouch in this story. I mean that I am a Lelouch fanboy but I think that it is now the time to stop this now. And it doesn't really fit the story setting. Sorry for everyone who liked this name or something like that. Be sure to leave a comment so I can fully understand my story from a viewer's POV.
