Synopsis
Kaburagi Tenma. That is the name of the main protagonist of this story. Or should I say, the main villain? In this story, everyone will perceive him as being manipulative, fearful and a scum. They are not wrong. People close to him see him as someone who takes advantage of others' helplessness, someone who has a stone heart, someone who is unfair. The ones who are really close to him find him interesting, funny and sometimes reliable. But no one actually really knows his true self. Is he a coward? A kind person like those typical shounen protagonists? A lonely person? An evil manipulator? We don't know. Before, he was not like that. He was just an ordinary kid. But what changed this 16-year-old this much? Did something absurd happened? We also don't know the motivation that drives him to be feared and hated by those around him. Why is he doing this The bitter truth is much darker than that. But..... The one thing that we understand as we progress the story is that he is doing it not because he wants to, but because of someone else. Someone else special..... Follow the story of this despised and feared delinquent, to find out his true motives, how did he become like this, and finally, who is that someone that he is doing it for..... PS: This is the first time that I'm writing a story. As you can see by the protagonist's name, it is set in Japan because I'm a big fan of anime in Japan. Also, I didn't put honorifics like '-san' or '-Kun' because I don't really know how it works. After Chapter 10 or so, my writing becomes better so bear with the shitty writing skills. I improve gradually And finally, I am grateful that you readers took your time to read my story. It's my first story so bear with it if there are too many grammar mistakes or if the story is kind of boring. Hope you all have a good time and I also hope that some readers might like the story I just wrote. Thank you.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Preparing to go to School

A boy was standing in front of a mirror, dressing into a school uniform. Blond-dyed hair to length reaching his eyes, shirt was not tuck in, the necktie was not properly put on and headphones were hanging on his neck.

Everyone seeing this boy's appearance would probably say 'this guy is a dangerous delinquent, better stay out of his sight.' I don't blame them for thinking like this. After all, I AM a delinquent.

And this delinquent's name is Kaburagi Tenma. I am 16 years old and am starting to go to high school. We moved in this year so I barely know anyone in this town.

The cause of moving into a different town was definitely me. While thinking about the past, I regretted doing so.

"Brother, what's taking you so long."

Interrupting my thoughts was the voice of a girl. Reflexively, my head turns towards that beautiful voice, which was in the direction of the door.

While the door started to open, a cute girl appeared. This cute girl is my little sister, Kaburagi Reika. Although I say she is my little sister, she is in the same year as me. It's just that my birthday is in July while hers in August. You say that we are technically twins but we do not look alike. She had black and silky hair reaching down to her waist.

She was wearing a small dark red skirt and the school uniform was blue. It was a good combination that looked good on her.

She approached me and lifted her head up, as she was smaller than me, and glared into my eyes.

'Ah... she's angry'

"I finished dressing up, and don't come into my room without knocking Reika."

"You were taking too long and we are a bit late for the opening ceremony. I don't want to be late on the first day at school."

"You can just skip it."

Upon my reply, she was even angrier and said,

"Who would want to be friends with someone who skips class?"

"But it's not class you're skipping."

"It's the same thing. I don't want to tarnish my reputation on the first day. I want to have friends."

The opening ceremony was too troublesome. We had to sit there, do nothing and listen to the principal's annoying speech.

"Don't wanna. You can just go by yourself. You know the way to the school, don't you? I hope you don't get lost on the way."

"But I wanted to go with y...."

While muttering something that I did hear, I pretended to not have heard it and said,

"What did you say? I didn't quite catch that."

"It's nothing."

Although I was happy that she wanted to walk with me, there was a reason that compelled me to do so.

Approaching near her, I spoke to her in a low but clear voice so that she can hear me clearly,

"Also I have something serious to say to you."

Reika's face changed into a serious one.

Approaching her slowly, I said,

"Don't talk to me at school like you know me and if someone questions that if we are related, say that we are not related and that the surnames which are the same as me is just coincidence."

Her face turned from serious to surprised and confusion, then she made a face like she understood and questioned me,

"Is it about me and you in the past?"

Seeing her sad face looking down, I spoke in a gentle voice to calm her,

"I just don't want to ruin your wish."

"What wish?" She said as she looked up again.

"Your wish to make a lot of friends at school."

She was happy while hearing it. While seeing that smiling face of hers, I just had the sudden urge to tease her. Unexpectedly I had a sadistic side to me.

"By the way, I forgot to tell you this," I spoke

"What is it, Brother?"

I leaned forward, near her ears and whispered,

"You look cute in this school uniform"

She was startled and started to blush. Now she was cuter than before. I smirked and started laughing lightly when seeing her in this state.

But before she could say anything else, she was interrupted by our mother, ordering us to come downstairs and eat breakfast.

"We are coming!"

I looked at Reika, who is still blushing, and said,

"Let's go and don't forget what I said."

She just nodded

After having breakfast, I leisurely go to school. Reika had long gone before me.

She left while saying 'Fix your necktie and shirt.'

I just ignored her.

...

I arrived at school just 10 minutes after the opening ceremony had started so there was still some time before class would start.

I went to check in which class I was allocated. It would save time and troublesome things to do when finding my class. I also searched for Reika's name on the board, only to find out that she was in a different class than me.

That....was good.

After knowing that information, I sat under a tree while spectating the sakura leaves that were carried by the wind. Watching this view, I wanted to take rest.

Suddenly I heard loud screaming and people shouting.

'Those bastards just disturbed when I was about to relax. I can't rest in a noisy surrounding.'

I picked my bag, got up and went into the direction of the commotion.

"These guys better give me a reason to not beat them up."
